A great small boutique hotel on a quiet street. A renovated old townhouse with just a handful of bedrooms. Very spacious room. We had a twin bedded room (2 doubles). Great breakfast - a varied selection of both cooked foods, pastries, fruit, yoghurts and savouries.

No hot water for showering. I was told to wait until the tank filled up but had to leave for a flight. Don’t stay here if you don’t lik cold showers.

Excellent/wonderful check-in young lady, she was just great. 19 Euro taxi ride from the airport, 30 Euro from hotel back to Airport. Great location, walk to all sites. Great A/C. Great Hot water. Very new and update room and bathroom. Very quiet location. Excellent breakfast. Excellent service. Refrigerator was worthless and never cold. Very nice private patio. Nice quality bed linens. One of the best locations , you do have some stairs to climb to get to the hotel , the usual ( old European city) style ! Wifi not great , so don’t depend on that. They have a lift that services 5 floors , if your room is on then6th you’ll need to walk up two flights . They had a power outage , that shorted the aircon , so it was really hot until that was fixed ! And the water pressure was non existent , they advised also due to the power outage . Lovely staff who seemed to work tirelessly to fix minor issues, just small things that keep happening …. If you can choose the junior terrace suite !

Fantastic hotel - perfectly situated in the heart of Valletta, beautiful rooms (well sized and very well decorated) and really great staff (super helpful and friendly). Breakfast was provided and was satisfactory. Highly recommend a stay here.

The reason I am rating this lower is for one thing: not enough hot water for more than a 2 minute shower. Seriously. I timed it. I even woke up one morning at 4:30 AM, thinking I would beat everyone else. Nope. This is a developed country in Europe, there is no excuse for insufficient hot water. Minor complaint: The shower grout was filled with black stuff that was either mold or missing grout. I wasn't getting close enough to find out. Internet speed was around 20, but it would randomly shut off at least once a day. Would be a pain if you were in a work meeting. Hotel itself is in a good location. You're within a 5-10 minute walk of great restaurants. Also 8-10 minutes from the bus station. Bed was OK. There was only one pillow and it wasn't that soft. Towels were usually slightly damp, likely from hang drying. They were big though. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion provided but they are teeny tiny bottles. Breakfast was good. Selection of hot and cold food. The staff was exceptionally friendly and always helpful!! I want to move up to a 3.5/5 just for the staff.
