호텔 루랄 라 푸에블라

This hotel is in a beautiful and quiet area in Valle de Sedano, near a waterfall. The hotel itself is quaint and rustic. The staff are very nice and friendly. The younger staff, the young men, speak English, which is really appreciated as it’s not always the case in Spain, and not all of us speak Spanish. The room we were given was a bit smaller than the photos, but still comfortable. The ceilings are low on the top floors, so watch your head. The only thing I can say negative about this hotel is that there is no parking possible nearby as it it up on a hill with very narrow uphill streets to get there. You have to leave your car at the bottom of the hill outside the village and climb up by foot to the top. Yes, their website stipulates this but not on the Trip.com website. As my husband is a civil handicapped person, we were exceptionally able to arrange to leave our car near the hotel for our short stay, but it was REALLY exceptional. If you are handicapped or mobility reduced, you shouldn’t stay there, unfortunately. Anyway, the drive up to and down from the hotel on those unbelievably narrow maze of streets is really too stressful. I don’t recommend it. But if you are otherwise young and fit, I highly recommend it. It’s peaceful, beautiful, amazing scenery, good food and friendly staff.

Hotel perfecto para pasar una noche viendo este genial pueblo.

El pueblo es una maravilla, sobre todo en unos días como estos en los cuales no hay apenas visitantes (viendo la cantidad de parkings cercanos al pueblo, puedo imaginar cómo se llenará). El hotel es limpio, el trato es estupendo, el restaurante genial para tapear y para desayunar, con unas vistas magníficas. Es increíble que hayamos pasado incluso frío por la tarde-noche en la terraza, comparado al calor de Madrid. Lo único malo que puedo achacar es que el hotel se encuentra en lo alto del pueblo, y subir con el coche es una tarea un tanto "tensa". Si no tienes aparcamiento (que hay pocas plazas donde puedas aparcar), subir con las maletas puede ser un esfuerzo extra un poco complicado. Las camas también podrían ser mejorables, pero la relación calidad/precio es estupenda.

Hemos estado muy a gusto en el hotel. Vistas espectaculares desde las habitaciones, personal muy amable, buen desayuno.... También ha sido un acierto cenar en el restaurante del hotel. Todo ello ha contribuido a que disfrutemos de un encantador finde en familia en este precioso pueblo

Maravilloso hotel en un entorno privilegiado. Orbaneja es espectacular. El hotel tranquilo y acogedor. Habitaciones cómodas y amplias, personal amable y dispuesto a ayudar. La comida y cena del restaurante exquisita y el desayuno muy bueno.

No puedo hablar del alojamiento ya que no nos hospedábamos allí pero nos acercamos a cenar ya que en el resto del pueblo no había más sitios abiertos y nos dijeron que fuéramos allí. Llegamos a las 9,30 horas y nos dijeron que no podían darnos de cenar porque estaban completos con los alojados. Les explicamos que no había nada abierto en el pueblo y tampoco lo conseguimos. Les preguntamos por sitios cerca y nos dijeron que no había ningún pueblo más. Les pedimos un bocadillo y no fue posible. Había mesas libres tanto en el comedor como en la terraza pero, obviamente, la decisión de cuanta gente pueden admitir es decisión del restaurante y no me meto, pero me parece insolidario y de bajo nivel para un local de hostelería dejar a gente sin comer algo (bocadillo, embutido, etc) sabiendo que no hay nada en los alrededores. Me pregunto si hacen lo mismo si hay niños.
