르자르뎅 드 셀리나(Le Jardin de Celina)

Cottages are a nice size with a cozy a**osphere. Unfortunately, due to some miscommunication by ******* about our breakfast having been prepaid (which we had vouchers for) the lady at check in made our stay very uncomfortable and upsetting - she was unwilling to work together with us to sort out the situation with *******. We didn’t really enjoy our (very short) time there. There are other hotels more conveniently located that will prove to be better deals.

The food at the on site restaurant was incredible and the staff were very accommodating getting us a reservation as hotel guests on a busy evening. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the town and shopping

I believe most people travel to Valensole for the lavender fields and this B&B is a perfect base for such activity. Located just outside the main village, the B&B has ample parking and peaceful green surroundings. Our stay of 2 nights took place during the recent heatwave across the region and this B&B doesn't have air conditioning. Even then we did not face too much difficulty. A standing fan/cooler was provided and that did the job for us. Our room was on the smaller side but the bathroom was very specious. Room had TV, safe and tea/coffee facility. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast, which was included in our rate, was good but not great. Staff attitude were very nice and all of them were helpful and polite. The reason I can not give this place the full marks is we encountered the lady owner of the B&B when we reached the hotel early and wanted to find out if we can drop off our luggage. Unfortunately the lady was dismissive and impolite to say the least. She even informed us that this place is her home and not a hotel. Fortunately we did not have to interact with her again during our stay and that was a blessing. The other problem we encountered was the Wifi didn't work for most of the time during our stay. Incidentally, if you stay here then be careful while walking to the hotel from car park area. The water sprinkler system gets switched on at all hours. Even with these issues we overall enjoyed our stay and the restaurant deserves a special mention for their food quality.

Unfortunately the room we booked (pool view) didn't have the air conditioning it was advertised to have which made for a very difficult night unable to sleep in to the 40C heat. The hotel agreed to a part refund for 2 nights so we could move to a hotel with air conditioning, requesting that we speak to go ********** to get the balance of the 2 days they wouldn't refund us for which was for the fees that they had paid to **********. ********** won't honour this refund of the amount they charged the hotel for fees. The hotel has a lovely pool. From all accounts the food is very good here, just don't choose a pool view room if you want air conditioning.

Finalmente una vera camera 'family' : due comodi letti matrimoniali ( uno dei due è un divano letto comodissimo) , una camera molto spaziosa e pulita., con un bel balconcino con tavolino e sedie per un momento di relax con vista giardino. Aria condizionata. Presente il bollitore per il tè e la macchina Nespresso con cialde caffè e latte. La colazione ( se la includete nel prezzo ) viene servita in camera : pane burro marmellata, brioches e dolci . Per uova e salumi c'è un piccolo sovrapprezzo. Bagno pulito e spazioso. Esterni molto curati e puliti. Vengono forniti i teli per la piscina.

Accueil parfait. Les hôtes sont charmants et aux petits soins. Le service est irréprochable. Le cadre est reposant avec un jardin entretenu une super piscine et des chambres très confortables. Nous recommandons vivement Nicolas et Marie-Eve

Superbe endroit ! Le gîte Chalet Zen est un véritable havre de paix, le restaurant est top. Tout le personnel a été aux petits soins pendant ce séjour de 12 jours...des gens charmants et chaleureux !
