Beautiful hotel - Breakfast was stunning and the staff are incredibly friendly - They went above and beyond in helping us to get to get things done (on a public holiday) - Stay here!!

Beautiful people and hotel. Friendly front desk, lovely breakfast spread with made to order eggs. We loved the underground pool and spa (family hours were 10am-1 pm but the staff was lenient when there were no spa appointments). The rooms were clean and well appointed. Thanks Ilyas and staff!

Not only is Fresco hotel esthetically beautiful, but the staff are the most kind and hospitable! They ensured that we felt welcome and that we had everything we needed. The breakfast was so lovely and the views from the rooftop, stellar. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Cappadocia.

For our 3-day 2 2-night private tour to Cappadocia, by Bellaturca Travel, our base was Urgup, a picturesque town at 1044 ft elevation, full of old stone houses clustered around the Temenni Tepesi or Wish Hill and surrounded by peaks and cliffs festooned with ancient cave dwellings. We were fortunate to be able to stay at the Fresco Cave Suites on this busy Easter weekend. The owner bought three old Turkish Muslim mansions and a set of cave homes to integrate into the present hotel in 1990, at the start of the boutique hotel boom in Urgup. We had a cave room, which was a unique, if windowless experience! The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom, which was also a cave, was enormous, with a brilliant hot shower and bath. There is a cave spa in a magnificent cavern, with a heated pool and a Hammam or Turkish bath. The courtyards, lounges and common spaces were all picturesque and the views from the rooftop are stunning, with Wish Hill in front, and a cave-studded mountain behind. Urgup is a key base for exploring Cappacodia, but still delightfully laid back. Exploring the cobblestoned paths up the hillsides took us past quaint local residential courtyards with lots of cats for our daughter to play with, and yielded different viewpoints in every direction. We had opulent breakfasts and very fine Turkish cuisine at the Devedami Anatolian Tandoor restaurant at the Fresco. This was one of the most interesting and enjoyable boutique hotels we have ever stayed in anywhere, but what made it extra special was the service, which was uniformly efficient, friendly and helpful. There were several reception staff on shifts, all excellent, and the restaurant staff were also amazing, but we happened to interact mainly with Ilyas, who showed a genuine interest in his guests and took time to engage us in chats about our home country and share his thoughts about the developments in Urgup and Cappadocia. He went beyond the call of duty in offering to dry my wife's laundry in the back before personally delivering it to her in the room. All in all, we had a wonderful time at the Fresco Cave Suites and look forward to visiting again in the future.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Vulcan at the front desk was so helpful with recommendations, suggesting activities each day, and pointing me in the right direction. The manager arranged a balloon tour at the last minute. He also offered suggestions at the restaurant for a menu item that I would enjoy and it indeed was absolutely delicious. The breakfast was a true Turkish breakfast with more food than one can possibly eat. My room was a real cave room, and the location of the hotel provided a spectacular view from the outside terraces. The sauna and pool were very refreshing. I was traveling alone as an older, single woman, and appreciated the respect and service provided. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Wonderful hotel in an incredible venue. Cappadocia. Hotel Staff was most helpful arranging a terrific day tour. We were given an upgraded suite at check-in. Breakfast was included. Food was excellent. Recommend Fresco Cave Suites highly.
