Exemplary hospitality in this small, elegant hotel. My companion and I had trouble navigating the streets of Urbino in our rental car. Because of some nearby construction, we could not find the hotel, and had to leave our car outside the walls. The owner, Fabricio, returned to work just to drive us down to our car, and lead us back to the hotel. It was above and beyond kind. We got wonderful recommendations for restaurants from Andrea at the front desk. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had one of the most fabulous bathrooms we experienced on our trip. The breakfast was superb, so much so that we ate far more than our shares!

I don’t disagree that the hotel could use a refresh but that being said, I found my room very clean. The location is great, just inside the walls and for 10€/day could stay parked right in front. It’s about a 5-10 minute climb straight up to be in the center of the town so not ok if you have mobility issues. I thought the breakfast was one of the best I had in Italy with truly excellent pastries and a wide selection. To truly take advantage of the location pay extra to get a room with a view. That’s why I picked this place and I loved being in bed and looking out my window at the beautiful hills beyond. Not sure if rooms without views would feel worth it but I did not mind the steeper price I paid given this charming feature.

A beautiful Italian hotel, the rooms are small and you can here everything from the corridor inside in it. But I would not recommend any non-Italian speaking person. never ever have I experienced such a rude receptionist, who cannot speak English but can yell at a young lady. The experience ruined my whole stay.

Delightful, small hotel. Fabulous views from our bedroom out over the countryside, and very central to the town. Friendly service. Nice breakfast, terrace, and overall traditional feeling. 5 minute walk into town centre. Great restaurants very nearby Portanova and trattoria del Leone.

L'albergo è veramente datato e richiederebbe un po' di manutenzione straordinaria anche se il bagno della nostra camera era ben tenuto e funzionale. Il punto di forza è sicuramente la posizione: appena all'interno delle mura ma in una zona molto tranquilla e silenziosa. Abbiamo parcheggiato proprio davanti l'hotel con un pass a pagamento ma nelle vicinanze, appena fuori le mura, si possono trovare parcheggi gratuiti. La colazione è abbastanza ricca sia dolce che salato ed il personale è cordiale ed accogliente. Come detto da molti, non è da 4 stelle.

Punti di forza: posizione eccellente e siamo riusciti a parcheggiare l'auto praticamente davanti all'albergo (pagando il pass) - Punti di debolezza: le 4 stelle non sono veritirere; albergo è vecchiotto e meriterebbe una ristrutturazione; attualmente ha parecchie scale interne (anche tra piani)
