Gorgeous big room with a amazing view over the valley, could even see the sea! Was amazing to see the sea fog floating through the golf court from above, next morning sun again. It has a pool with perfect temperature and a great jacusi! I loved the stay!

Buen hotel aunque algo caro. Está situado en una zona tranquila, aunque complocada para ir andando, ya que volver de noche es algo peligroso por los coches. Piscina cubierta y gimnasio incluidos en el precio.

What a pleasant stop over for the night while walking the Camino del Norte at Abba Comillas. The room was airy, comfortable, clean and had a beautiful and large balcony with fantastic views where we enjoyed chilled wine. We were there off season (most guests were actually pilgrims), so it was all quiet but the hotel clearly was understaffed. Excellent breakfast served in a bright dining room with sea views. Just a comment for management : private balconies are major assets to chill but why on earth having so uncomfortable furniture (esp. seating) ? By the way, Comillas is a thrilling stop on the Camino. The sea front offers great eating options for dinner (assume circa 30 min. walk from hotel).

Golf - but no Ryder Cup We were due to stay in this hotel for a golf break but our Agent moved us to a ‘boutique’ hotel closer to town. Being the Ryder Cup weekend and desperate to watch the final day we got a taxi to the Golf Hotel to watch the golf. When we arrived they didn’t have the golf on and the extremely unhelpful and rude waitress got the hand control to try and find a sports channel but didn’t try too hard! The receptionist was equally unhelpful so don’t book this hotel if you are under the impression that it’s for golfers / it isn’t!

We stayed only one night at this hotel, but really enjoyed it. It's very calm, clean, nice and stylish. Good location. There are golf fields,a swimming pool, a gym etc. Large parking for the cars. Very friendly staff. Perfect and various breakfast with fresh orange juice.
