North Fork Mountain Inn

My husband and I recently spent a two-night stay at the Inn, and our experience was exceptional. For those seeking a tranquil retreat, we highly recommend booking a reservation. Janese and Nadia are consummate hosts, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Nadia's culinary skills are impressive, as evidenced by the delectable breakfast she prepared, featuring waffles, eggs, and fresh fruit. The four-course dinner package we opted for was equally impressive. We had the pleasure of staying in the Eagles Nest (the BEST room in the house), which boasts a private balcony offering stunning views of the night sky. The amenities were top-notch, including soft robes, plush towels, and a comfortable bed. It's worth noting that the Inn is located in a secluded area, with a steep, unpaved driveway. Nevertheless, the experience is well worth the effort, particularly if you're planning to visit Seneca Rocks or Blackwater Falls.

North Fork is truly a serene mountain log home getaway experience. My wife especially enjoyed the connection it has with the surrounding forest lands. The meals in the main lodge are on par with the best we've had at superior restaurants. Highly recommended!

The perfect WV mountain getaway. Hiking, hospitality, and hummingbirds! Hosts Janese & Nadia were SO welcoming and provided all the comforts of home in an immaculate, efficiently-run, well-equipped, rustic and friendly environment. Highly recommend for anyone that loves rugged, outdoor adventure with a warm bed, bath, meals, and fellowship to enjoy each day. Beautiful mountainside location with reasonable drives to access Dolly Sods Wilderness, North Fork Mountain Trail, and Seneca Rocks. Hike to Chimney Top was challenging for us in the 55+ crowd... but well worth it! Wishing these two gracious hosts much success and hope to be back soon! Thanks so much for sharing your Inn with us!
