Amazing stay. Gareth and team ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Magical views. Tranquil Sunsets/sunrises are food for the soul. The chalets were spotless. Animals wondering around was a treat. Will definitely visit again. A new favourite. Thank u for a memorable stay and one i am looking forward to doing again. If you looking for true peace and quiet and a time out with only nature and stillness. No better place to be.

Our stay at Sani Valley was nothing short of amazing. The service was fantastic and so was the delicious food. I cannot fault Gareth and his team. We had a glorious week of rest and pampering in a tranquil atmosphere where horses, bucks and zebras roam free. The Mountain views are breathtaking. We will most definitely visit Sani Valley again.

Scenery is top notch something out of a movie Gareth and team are phenomenal they even waited for us at 11pm because we were late that's dedication :) It's really peaceful and theres open areas for hiking and wildlife Cabins are cozy Perfect to getaway from city life

A wonderful stay overall. Stunning views of the Dam and the mountain. Service from all staff was excellent. The unit however needed some attention. 1. The Lounge couch was very uncomfortable. You fell in as you sat - very hollow and not firm. 2. The kitchen bin was not washed in a very long time. It was very unpleasant to lift up the lid as it had numerous food stains on it. 3. The freezer had the ice tray stuck in and it could not come out. The freezer was also not defrosted in a long time whereby ice took up a lot of space. 4. There was insufficient towels. Booking a unit for 2 with a private Jacuzzi, I expected at least 4 towels. Two each for the Jacuzzi and two for showering. We only had two towels which was completely different sizes. One bath Sheet and one Bath Towel.

The views and location were out of this world, the accommodation at Lake side cottage was well kept and offered all the amenities for self catering purposes. We will definitely return soon. Many thanks to Gareth & Sam for the great service.

We have just spent 5 amazing nights at this magical place. Sani Valey has left a permanent mark on our hearts in so many ways. From the breath taking beauty of the lake with the mountain backdrop, to the incredibly comfortable and well equipped lodges, amazing walks, sublime swims, massages that were some of the best we have had anywhere in the world, and service that was faultless. Thank you to the whole Sani Valley team, and specifically to Sam and Gareth for being such kind and gracious hosts. I would highly recommend Sani Valley Lodge for everything from a quiet get away for two, to a small family long weekend or a large group gathering where you fill all the lodges.

Meeting up with old friends after time past with their new connections. Sani Valley’s unique natural beauty and peaceful surroundings allowed us all to connect while doing a host of activities suiting us; walks, massages, swims, fly fishing and meeting for drinks and meals. Gareth and his team seamlessly allowed us all to gather and be in this jewel of nature. ThankYou

We stayed for 7 days in a wonderful setting with a large group of friends to celebrate a double birthday. The entire setting with wild Zebras and Eiland grazing right in front of our house, the dam with it’s wonderful clear and inviting water to swim, the surrounding mountains - it was dreamy. Gareth and his wife Sam are the heart of the place - so kind and anticipatingly overlooking everything 🥰

We loved our stay at Sani Valley! The location and view is pristine, with the lake and mountain combination offering something unique compared to other places I have been to in the Drakensberg. Gareth and his team are friendly and helpful. Our cottage was well equipped and spacious. The only complaint I can make is that I believe some maintenance is due on our cottage, but this is only minor.
