On paper looks good. However, it is not a pleasant experience We were left thoroughly disappointed with our experience at the hotel, primarily due to a lack of professionalism and inadequate service across several aspects of our stay. Staff and Service: From the outset, the level of professionalism displayed by the staff—particularly during check-in—was well below expectations. The front desk team, who are the first point of contact for guests, lacked efficiency and courtesy in handling the process. Moreover, when issues were raised, they were not addressed with the seriousness or responsiveness one would expect at a hotel of this calibre. In particular, Mr. Farook, the Duty Manager, failed to manage guest complaints effectively. Rather than offering resolutions or demonstrating empathy, the responses were dismissive and lacked accountability, which only compounded our dissatisfaction. Buffet and Dining Experience: We were also disappointed by the lack of transparency regarding the nature of the restaurant. It was not communicated to us in advance that the restaurant served only halal food. While we understand and respect the need for halal offerings, the absence of alternatives to cater to other dietary requirements is unacceptable—especially considering that an open bar was available. A hotel that claims to cater to a diverse clientele should be inclusive of various dietary preferences and restrictions. The Indian buffet selection was another letdown. It is surprising and disappointing that no bread options (such as rotis or naan) were offered—especially considering that both rice and Indian bread are staple accompaniments in Indian cuisine. Providing a roti basket as part of the buffet would have been a basic expectation, particularly at the price point charged. Furthermore, for a coastal property, the lack of seafood variety was unexpected. The single fish option available at the live cooking counter was poorly prepared and unfortunately inedible. This falls short of the standard one would anticipate from a hotel promoting its coastal location. Breakfast Experience: Breakfast was equally underwhelming. For a hotel that hosts conferences and presumably caters to international guests with varied dietary requirements, the absence of standard offerings such as bacon was disappointing. Additionally, charging separately for lattes and cappuccinos—drinks that are typically included in breakfast at comparable establishments—was disheartening and felt like a nickel-and-dime approach. Room Amenities and Technical Issues: The television in our room did not work throughout our stay, and resolving this issue turned into a frustrating ordeal. Multiple calls and follow-ups led nowhere, and eventually, we had to visit the front desk in person. Only then were we informed that the issue was known and ongoing. This lack of proactive communication is unacceptable. A simple courtesy notice at check-in or a direct update would have set the right expectatio
