I’ve never given a hotel review but this place deserves one! 10/10 recommend Hotel Shibari. The food, the room, the service, the amenities, the landscaping, the access to 3 beach clubs, the beautiful cenote!!!! Honestly a dream! Even though it doesn’t have direct access to the beach, it’s partnered with 3 beach clubs for free access which gives you opportunity to see different areas of the beach. So fun, we loved every second.

Amazing property. Everything to like about it. Staff friendly. Excellent Yoga classes. Cenote as the center of the hotel is simply great.

Hotel & grounds are beautiful in a great location! Large modern rooms with a Mexican touch. Service at breakfast needs improving but would definitely return.

Pleasure to stay at this beautiful hotel. Staff is amazing and helpful with booking additional activities. Beautiful cenote “bellybutton” with lots of little fish and a few big ones show up from time to time. The smells around the hotel are wonderful. Indirect lighting everywhere and lots of outdoor lighting make this place magical. Enjoyed the entire stay! Thank you for taking such good care of us on our 26 year anniversary!

We absolutely love this hotel. It’s like stepping out of the real world! So beautiful and so quaint & relaxing. It made our stay I don’t want to leave I love it so much! Staff is amazing Definitely 5 star. Food was amazing too. Loved doing yoga.

I stayed at the Shibari Hotel for only one night with my boyfriend and the staff were super friendly and polite. The check in was amazing. We were greeted with a cold hand towel and water and we sit down and the receptionist come to us for the check in. Highly recommended the hotel.

We had an amazing stay at the Shibari resort. It’s a very cool property that was a very calm environment. Room was spacious, modern, and clean. The food on site was great quality, and fantastic cocktails. The cenote is really cool! We did have some rain on the later part of the trip so the water was too murky to swim, but we did swim in it earlier in the stay when it was crystal clear and very refreshing. They also have a pool with swim up bar and a separate large hot tub. The staff was very friendly/ attentive. We had arranged an early pickup for a tour to chichen itza that left before bfast started and their staff proactively found us and the day before and arranged for their kitchen to have a to go lunch ready for us before the kitchen was open. I appreciated the proactive attention. They also helped coordinate transportation and some tours as well. Location was convenient to several other great restaurants that we walked to close by.

An amazing cenote as a centerpiece. High quality, good sense of the detail. Only hiccup… open bathrom, room made for couples more than for friends.

Hotel was amazing!! We visited a few in the area and this one was still our favorite by far. Loved everything about it. Also Luis was an extremely kind staff member who was extremely helpful taking care of my wife and I.
