Just not up to Hampton Inn standard
The one working elevator, the crunchy towels that felt like bath mats, the 7 unattended small kids left in the hall, the non existence water pressure.
Waking up to a small kid screaming at 630 am and then running up and down the halls until we left at 9am was enough to decided I'd rather stay at a motel 6 than at another Hampton at least I'll only be paying under $50 for the night to deal with all that mess rather than $150 plus a night plus parking

We are so excited to welcome you to our modern adobe home in the famous Barrio Viejo neighborhood! Located at the foot of downtown Tucson, this home was built in 2023 and styled to match the historic vibe of the district. It is in a safe, quiet area and located just steps from downtown Tucson (convention center, gem show locations, great coffee shops and restaurants, and so much more!). The home and yard is spacious, completely fenced and secure. Not long ago, this house was just a dream. A “what if?” during a walk at sunset. We wanted to create something that felt like a love letter to Tucson — desert air, golden light, slow mornings with coffee in hand. And then we did. This place holds stories now. Quiet dinners. Laughter in the courtyard. Dogs napping in sun patches. The kind of details you only notice when you’re finally still enough to breathe them in.We don’t think of this house as a rental. We think of it as a stop on someone’s journey — maybe yours. Whether you’re passing through or planting roots, our hope is that you find something here: inspiration, rest, clarity… or maybe just the best sleep you’ve had in a while. We’re honored to share it with you.Additional information:Our home sits on a completely fenced in lot only 1 block from the convention center. It is located in Barrio Viejo, but is on a quiet side street so you don't have to worry about the heavy foot traffic of the main Barrio Viejo strip! The backyard is also enclosed in the gated space and our driveway is located there. You can comfortably fit two cars within the enclosed space. You will also have a key to lock the back gate for extra security if you wish during your stay. Street parking is always available as well. The home has three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. We do have a working space (a desk and comfortable chair with views of downtown Tucson) and a small gym corner (Peloton Bike+ and yoga mats) within the spare bedroom. The spare front room bedroom has a queen sized bed, the master bedroom has a king sized bed, and the middle room has a day bed (twin sized) but also has a mattress on the bottom that can be easily pulled up and can be attached to the twin bed to have a king sized bed. The couch is also comfortable and could fit an adult if needed for sleeping. The kitchen opens up to a courtyard with an outdoor dining table that fits 6 and features a historic gate from the 1800's. The back yard contains a Solo Stove fire pit and chairs and a large hammock. The front porch also has a sitting area. We also have a variety of desert plants and cacti that we have planted in the yard - they love to bloom during the spring time if you happen to be visiting then!I know we are biased, but our home is truly in the best location. We feel so fortunate that we found such a great neighborhood in Tucson where you can walk everywhere and be a short drive away to excellent hikes in Saguaro National Park. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. We look forward to hosting you!About pets:Pets allowed: limit 2 total.About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About checkIn:Check in after 4:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 18.About events:No events allowed.
