We have stayed here 3 different times and will go back again. Very reasonable prices. Get that old world Italy feeling in this historic building. Be prepared for stairs. The owner is so accommodating and the beds are so comfortable. Go to Tropea & stay with Umberto!

What a lovely, charming place. The old stone structure has been beautifully adapted into a small hotel. But the charm is further enhanced by the graceful and generous host, Umberto, who treats guests as personal guests in his home! We loved our stay with Umberto.

The place is very quaint, perfectly located in the heart of the tourist district amongst restaurants. Clean with great atmosphere. I highly recommend this place. The staff was absolutely wonderful, helpful and kind. The rooms were eclectic but clean and updated. We had access to an upstairs balcony with a bit of a view. Air conditioning was nice. Quiet and peaceful. Finding it initially is a little bit difficult. It's in a pedestrian only zone which is fine - so the taxi can't bring you there. But Google Maps was of little help with the alleyways. Once you know exactly where it is and how the alleyways lineup, it's easy.

Donnaciccina is perfect in every way. Historic, cozy, clean, happy and owner operated. Centrally located and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, bank, Farmacia, market, beach, church, train station (downhill to hotel. Need ape’ for ride back since uphill that way) Anuncia breakfast is delicious. She bakes the cakes herself and features daily fruit picked from their own trees! Gloria is professional, attentive and an amazing point of contact for your entire stay. Umberto was my guardian angel and his dear mother comes by every morning to greet everyone. LOTS of steep steps in this hotel. The rooms are VERY clean and spacious. I miss them all so much. Coming back as soon as I can.

Dans une petite ruelle du centre historique et juste à côté du plus beau point de vue. Nous étions une famille de 4 dont 3 enfants de 10, 13 et 15 ans et y avons séjourné 5 nuits du 31 juillet au 5 aôut 2022 dans la chambre Lady Deanna avec vue sur la rue principale et la mer.Parfait pour sentir le pouls de la ville. Chambre très propre avec lits confortables et air conditionné, bon petit déjeuner sucré et salé et que dire du personnel!Tout le personnel se plie en 4 pour satisfaire vos moindres désirs. Merci beaucoup à Umberto, Nunzia et Gloria et la femme de ménage.

Ho avuto il piacere di alloggiare presso Donnaciccina con la mia famiglia 11 anni fa, e data l'ottima esperienza, ho deciso di ritornarci quest'anno con la mia dolce metà. Oggi come allora, mi sono davvero sentita a casa. Umberto è una persona squisita ed affettuosa: ci ha dato ottimi consigli per quanto riguarda i ristoranti e luoghi da visitare. Le ragazze del suo staff sono state simpaticissime e gentili, abbiamo scambiato tante piacevoli chiacchiere e risate durante le nostre colazioni (buonissime!!!). La nostra camera (bella, comoda, pulita ed ordinata) aveva una splendida vista sul centro storico e sul mare. È stata una bellissima vacanza. Sarà sempre la prima scelta quando torneremo nuovamente a Tropea.
