Vacation Internationale at Sand Pebble Resort

This resort is a bit older but very well maintained. There's plenty of parking; units are large and right on the beach. Live music on Tuesdays at 2 pm. Large pool kiddie pool and adults-only hot tub - all clean as a whistle. Very close to lots of great restaurants and activities.

We had a 2 bed 2 bath room. It is a little dated in looks but very comfortable. The walkways on both sides of the resorts have been fixed and reopened since the 2024 hurricanes. The 3 pools were open and in full use. There were 3 grills always ready to use . Live music was provided one day here. Direct access to the beach. They did include beatj chairs for our use and some complimentary items for pool and beach use. Just have to remember to bring everything back amd not leave it on the beach. Please be kind and let others use the provided beach toys. There was one family here that took the toys to there room every day they were there so no one else could use them. Please don't be those people. Only negative thing was the amount of ants near the the pool/grill area and parking lot. It was so bad that after having our truck parked in the lot for a week ants took refuge inside our truck. We spent a long time cleaning ants out and had to buy ant poison to get ride of them. (We used the island hopper shuttle service while here which all you do is tip them)

Of all the timeshares I have been to in 30 years, this was one of the dirtiest. The bathroom sink looked like a cup of coffee had been dumped in it. Some of the bath towels had blood residue they tried to wash out instead of replacing like they should have. The toilet seat was not clean and even the light switch in the bathroom has some kind of stain we had to clean off. There was also blood on a pillow case. Finally, the two double beds were too small for "couples" to "use." The staff was very friendly and the place had immediate beach access were the only positives.

We stayed in a 2br side partial ocean view room. check in was fast and easy and the staff was friendly. Our unit and the resort were clean and well maintained. The unit was large and well stocked and beds were comfortable. The pool area with jacuzzi had a covered bar area with chairs and there were plenty of lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas. The resort is a few block from John's Pass where there are shops and restaurants. We ate at Crabby's on the Pass 3 times which is on the Trasure Island side of the bridge. It was a 5 minute walk. The resort is right on the beach but feel private with the tropical plants surrounding the pool area. We would stay again

Room 108 has NO ocean view. We were told it had a side view of the ocean, it dose not. It over looks the side parking lot, some trees and I believe pool a equipment. Unit was very clean. FYI, No starter coffee packets. Staff was helpful and friendly.

We last minute traded into a “B” unit, which was a one bedroom lock-off suite from the main “A” suite. PRO - Unit was clean, well maintained, staff was friendly, there was plenty of free parking. Condo was literally 40 steps from white sand beach. There were two elevators for only six floors. A shaded adult pool and hot tub along with a kiddie pool provided an alternate to the sandy beach. CON - Unit had NO temperature control within the “B” unit- temperature was controlled by “A” unit. Unit had NO INTERNAL DOOR LOCK, unit’s walls were paper thin to hear into “A” unit. Unit still used manual keys that could easily get lost or stolen. I feel between the no internal locks in the unit and the use of manual keys, SECURITY is a definite issue!
