머큐어 툴루즈 쉬드(Mercure Toulouse Sud)

We had appointments at the Oncopole in Toulouse and booked at the Mecure Toulouse Sud. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the Oncolpole. We arrived late morning much too early to check in but were offered a coffee in the lounge. After our appt we came back and our room was available an hour before official check-in. The lobby, lounge and breakfast area are immaculate. We reserved a room that had bathrobes, slippers and a Nepresso machine. The room was well appointed, a large shower and plenty of counter space. There is a bar and breakfast area but no restaurant, so if you don’t have a car you’ll need to take a taxi to eat on the weekend. There is a restaurant right next door but it’s closed Friday night, and all of Saturday and Sunday. The buffet breakfast was quite good with a selection of meats, cheeses, eggs, fruit and various bread & pastries. There are coffee machines and a lovely selection of bespoke teas with teapots. There is a selection of mini meals available for lunch or dinner if you’d rather not leave the hotel. The staff went out of their way to make you feel special from Wafa who assisted with breakfast to the gal at the front desk who offered us water for our drive home. The hotel is also located a 3 minute walk from the téléphérique a cable car that links to Rangueil Hospital and Paul Sabatier university campus. There is very good bus service available right outside the hotel grounds. Although a bit away from the center of Toulouse it is definitely a very good choice for being south of the city.

Air con in this hotel has a real problem : extremely noisy all night (loud pump starting from time to time). The thermostat, of a dark age, can't help. And you can't open the window to shut down air con: concert of frogs around the hotel is even louder (true story !). Next morinng, not a surprise for the staff, friendly though. And compensation proposed for insomnia was very disappointing. So either you check that you are given a room with no pump (there are) or you stay away from this hotel if you want to sleep.

The hotel was nice with everything you can expect from a Mercure. The room was simple and had all amenities as you would expect. The design is a bit specific but I found it nice. Location is convenient if you plan on using the cable car which is basically on the other side of the street (little highlight of the stay) Food options inside the hotel were not great and it was best to eat in the restaurant just outside (but it is a bit expensive)

Always so nice to be greeted by name, and this time to be able to eat in the dining area for the first time in so many months, take an apero in the lounge and indeed, not have to eat in my room. Such a useful location also.

Very nice. Hotel but very little eating options in the evening. Breakfast was very good.

La limpieza excelente. El servicio de habitación también muy bien. Las opciones de cenan la habitación estaban muy ricas. Las sabanas muy suaves y almohadas muy cómodas. Sin embargo, la cama se hundía un poco en el centro, no era muy firme.

Très bien accueilli par le personnel de l'hôtel lors de notre réunion avec l'entreprise SAGESSE Assurances. Le personnel est professionnel et à l'écoute. Très attentifs au bon déroulement de l'événement et à ce que tout le monde passe un bon moment. Le bar est très bien tenu par un barman qui réalise des cocktails très très bons. La décoration est superbe, avec une touche de verdure qui ne passe pas inaperçu. Merci beaucoup

Excellent séjour. Attention: adresse GPS qui ne nous amène pas à la bonne entrée de l'hôtel ( rond point après le centre d'oncologie). Accueil et accompagnement parfaits.

Un hotel genial en todos los aspectos......instalaciones nuevas,desayuno muy bueno,ecelente trato por parte de Teo,Carlos y todo el equipo del hotel.....quiza la unico incoveniente que aparentemente tiene en la ubicacion lejos del centro,pero al tener delante mismo la parada del excelente telesferico que te lleva al metro en 10m con unes vistas excelentes y una experiencia unica....aparte el billete del mismo te vale para el metro.......por lo que que lo que seria un incoveniente se convierte en una grata experiencia.Muchas gracias y hasta la proxima.... que sin duda volveremos.Carme i Carlos
