My stay started with a call to the hotel to request a quiet room as I was working rubbish hours. I spoke to Georgina on the phone and she was really helpful with my request. On arrival Georgina was on reception and the happy voice matched the smiley face. With a small warning of be careful what you wish for I found my room at most certainly the quietest spot in the hotel. I can certainly say I got my steps in…….. Not being able to make breakfast with my rubbish hours I was given a very hearty pickup to take with me although I might add a small carton of milk would have been a lovely add on. Up to the end of my stay the ladies on reception were outstanding and thank you for doing what you do Georgina and crew.

I stay at lots of premier inns regularly with work but I’ve not met a staff member as friendly or as helpful as Georgina!!!!!! Just what you need after a very long drive!!! The hotel has some nice refurbished rooms too! Didn’t eat there so can’t comment on food. Thanks Georgina.

Having driven across Ireland to Larne and a further 2hrs from Cairnryan to Dumfries, we arrived very tired and hungry at appx 19:40hrs. We were instructed that the restaurant was closing at 19:45hrs and were too late to order food. We had no mobile signal and the general Premier inn wi-fi service was totally inadequate, although the premium wi-fi worked, it only did so from a far distance away from the lounge area, where we were gathered, deciding what we were going to do next. Having driven across Ireland and half of Scotland, the last thing we wanted to do, was to jump back into our vehicle and go searching for something to eat. There was an draining issue with the shower in one room. Didn't think when booking with a premier hospitality company I would be left wanting for sustenance at such an early evening hour. Not the welcoming and restful premier inn experience we had all anticipated and hoped for.

I had a lovely stay at the Dumfries Premier Inn. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet – exactly what you'd hope for from a good night's rest. What really stood out, though, was the delicious breakfast and the brilliant service from the lovely Angela, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was spot on for our big family of eleven. There were no issues at all during my stay, and the whole experience felt very smooth and welcoming. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dumfries – great value, friendly staff, and a delicious breakfast to start of our day. Thank you Angela for your amazing service at breakfast x

Late check-in lady was amazing, checking out totally different didn't even get acknowledged by either members of staff. Angela in the restaurant was amazing and went above and beyond to accommodate my two daughters on our travels, we were late leaving and Angela my got two daughters takeaway boxes to take bit as we had a long travel and was pushed for time, so unable to have some breakfast bits while there Angela was brilliant with them both.

Great rooms! and Angela and Heather in the restaurant were amazing!! and helpful!! and friendly!! The rooms were clean and the food was delicious and great portions. The steak was particularly good!! Breakfast was hot and coffee was great also
