This review is for the Guesthouse behind the hotel. It was expensive and very bleak. First of all - a warning if you have any mobility issues. Rickety wooden outside steps and then inside another daunting steep flight of steps to my corner room carrying my lightweight rolling suitcase and my backpack on. It's a workout for a 78 year old woman! There was a single bed shoved into a small alcove with the redeeming factor that it had a reading lamp over the bed. No nightstand, no attempt to even have some shelves maybe for putting phone, glasses, book, etc. I ended up moving the chair next to the bed to use for this. There was an awkward tall piece of furniture that served no purpose whatsoever. I tipped it over and moved it to another wall under the tv so I could open my suitcase and use it as a luggage rack. The table was adequate to use as a desk for my laptop. Wifi worked well. Charging outlets again were in inadequate places with leaving my phone laying on the floor to recharge. Again, use of space was not laid out well. There was wall space to have had a luggage rack and shelves to sort out clothes. There were just 3 hangers on hooks. The shower was one of those that has no stall, just a handheld over the sink type of showers. All of that being said, there was an adequate kitchen downstairs and a supermarket just steps away. The hotel breakfast room was very nice and I did enjoy that. The front desk staff was very helpful with calling me taxis for the airport and to my boat excursion on rib62. It was very easy to walk around the city and see the sights. I paid over 100e a night and it was way over priced, but the Faroes are expensive. I overall felt that a little more effort could be made to make these small rooms more hospitable.

Stayed on a package with 62N Tours. Greeted with a warm welcome by a lovely receptionist. Rooms are simple but comfortable, bed was great, window opened so you can enjoy some of the freshest air on the planet. The breakfast is good and offers scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, beans, small sausages, yoghurt, breads, cold cuts and cheeses.

Preface this review with the fact that I know it's not the hotels fault that there are strikes on and no public transport. However, every time I asked for help or advice/information the staff were very unhelpful, and just laughed about the situation. No advice or suggestions for places I could get to, taxi services guided tours etc or anything good to do in Torshavn. I would be trying my hardest to ensure guests still had a good time. I was staying in the guesthouse and the rooms were awful, noisy at night, you can hear everyone else in the building. The mattresses are so uncomfortable, and the pillows are even worse and you're paying over £100 for these rooms. The breakfast is good and the staff there are really friendly, but it's the same food every day. The location is great, right in the centre of Torshavn and close to transport terminals, restaurants and two supermarkets.

Room in the 62 N Guestouse was very small and outdated, ok for a short stay only. Tasty and good quality complimentary breakfast in the hotel. Friendly staff and central location. Somewhat expensive like everything in the Faroe islands.

Minimal, è la giusta e generosa descrizione di questo hotel. Camere minuscole, un armadio che contiene poco, un ripiano-scrivania, una poltroncina. Viaggiando - evidentemente, visto il clima - con abbigliamento voluminoso, non si può che lasciare tutto in valigia. Bagno pure lui minuscolo, doccia retrattile, lavandino ristretto. Ad un certo punto c’era puzza di fogna, in bagno e in camera: sono intervenuti come hanno potuto e il problema si è ridimensionato. Però il letto è confortevole, ci si dorme bene, se ci si adatta alla luce continua (in giugno, non era mai buio). Colazione buona, in prevalenza salata, quotidianamente invariata. Personale visto poco, poco socievole, le camere le puliscono solo se lo si richiede. Prenotato tramite agenzia, avrei scelto di meglio.

Bem localizado no centro da capital pois fica perto do que interessa conhecer. Staff simpático e desenrascado. Pequeno-almoço simples mas bom. Quartos simples, confortáveis e práticos. Jantei um menu de degustação de comida local excelente.
