글래드스톤 하우스 토론토(Gladstone House)

This hotel was absolutely fantastic and, believe it or not, actually came with a robe, which I gladly wore in the hours leading up to my friend's 40th birthday party. Everything was great except for one thing -- the interior of this hotel was ugly as sin. See the purple pool table below. Who greenlit this, exactly? Super ugly. When I was in undergrad this place was a dive and I saw the best noise show of my life in the lower area. Is this an improvement?

I really enjoyed the touches of the original building. The elevator was fantastic! Wish the windows would have opened! Fresh air is important to a good sleep. The bar was beautiful and I really enjoyed having my tea served in a tea cup and silver pot!

Great aesthetic, preserves the history of the building (including an old-school manned elevator!) while adding modern, colorful upgrades. Rooms were nice and beds were extremely comfortable.

Staff was extremly friendly expectually Miguel. Great area for entertainment and shopping. Had a wonderful time

This was one of the coolest hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time. Found this spot quickly and unexpectedly and was pleasantly surprised. It’s different and chic ! With a cool vibe and just about everything you need and more! My floor was equipped with a pool table, the best ice machine, and a comfortable bed and pillow which are so rare to come by and all of my personal essentials for a good time! Theres also so much to do in the area and plenty of great spots to eat at for all meals of the day! Big fan, thank you for a great stay I will be back!

I was turned away because I do not have a physical Visa card, rather a Virtual Visa Card. I had to pay the room deposit on arrival and could not, as the only form of acceptable payment method is credit card.

We had a wonderful stay at the Gladstone and will definitely be back. We love unique properties and were not disappointed by the architecture, local art, room design, and thoughtful details. Our room was spotless and spacious. We especially liked that there was no carpet and liked all of the lighting options. Great coffee and lots to do in the area. We parked out front on Queen Street W initially to drop off our bags, then proceeded to leave the car in the garage around the corner from the hotel. Would've been a long-ish walk with luggage so I recommend doing the same. Overall a fantastic stay.

Went here for a work trip. Not sure I would have stayed here if I were on vacation. It's a nice old place renovated to be on trend. The heating in the room was inconsistent. If you didn't want to freeze because the rooms were so cold, you'd have to sleep with ear plugs because the heater, once turned on - sounded like you were right next to a hairdryer all night. Also, the remote control for the tv needs to be simplified for visitors. My first night I had no issues, but day 2 and 3, I wasn't able to watch anything. I even had the staff try and help - even to just to get a signal - they had just as many difficulties.
