도무스 볼룸니아 레시덴체(Domus Volumnia Country House)

Small and quaint accommodation establishment located right outside Perugia, in a quiet setting with beautiful surroundings and views. Breakfast was very good and staff were very nice and helpful. The only drawback is that since it is an old building, there is no lift. For the rest, I would definitely recommend for those staying at Perugia.

All were excellent, The only difficulty we had was locating the property as neither our car nor phone gps could find. We were eventually aided by a friendly plumber who lead us to it. Would certainly recommend.

A beautiful place! Lovely garden, a nice, clean pool and very good food. The personell was super friendly and made us feel so welcome. The rooms are so charming and spacious. We will recommend it to anyone going to the area.

This hotel was a real gem. We booked for 4 people and had a great suite with 2 bedrooms and a kitchen/living area with a sofa bed - great for a family with older teens who prefer not to share! Pool and surroundings were lovely, breakfast tasty and staff friendly and helpful. Food was very good but not a lot of options for very fussy eaters, however plenty of options nearby (by car). I would love to come back here!

The owners are very engaged in the day to day maintenance and operations of the inn (grounds, facilities, services). They are also very active in a number of programs to enhance the properties look and services features (such as the addition of a cabana refreashments area near the pool). The location of the in is ideal for quick local trips into Perugia and motorways to other cities in Umbria and Tuscany. The supportstaffare very courteous and helpful. The cleaning team does an excellent daily job - tailored to the guests requests.

Staff was absolutely lovely

We were three couples stayed their one night, the place is located close to the main street, with lots of steps to your room, we stayed at the ground level these rooms seem to have some remodeling took place which you have to go down from the main entrance, one couple took the junior suite, which was one level above whereas the third couple took the apar**ent two to three level up, (make sure you bring small size luggage as there is no lift), the other two rooms need some renovation for sure, the place overlooks a great view, and has a comfortable seating outside area for drinking and smoking, we tried their restaurant and I am telling you we had a fantastic meal, we were so surprised that this place has a very tasty Italian cuisine Waow, their breakfast is also good, the people over there were very nice and cordial, we recommend this place if you do not mind the steps

Excellent service

This hotel would be great for families stopping in for for a respite during a road trip. It was not too far off the highway and also not too far from city center. The beds were okay - and it definitely has a “budget” feel which seemed it was appropriate for the cost. It’s nothing fancy for sure. The pool was very nice. The location could be slightly loud at times due to noise of cars driving by. Our biggest complaint is that the property was under extreme renovation when we went; Orbitz did say that the hotel may be undergoing renovation, however, this was MAJOR construction with wires everywhere, heavy machinery, unsafe walking conditions, rubble everywhere, and the hotel should not have been open and allowed to serve guests during this time. Breakfast was awful to sit with the sound of heave construction machinery at 8am. We had stopped in for a rest along our road trip, but if I had been there to relax and unwind for more than 1 night, we would have had to find other accommodations. The staff were mostly friendly but could definitely put a little more effort into the small points of customer service - nobody was there to greet us at check in for 5 minutes, then in the morning they offered breakfast but didn’t provide any kind of information on what we could choose from. I also did write the hotel asking for a chocolate shop recommendation and never got a response. Overall the hotel served its purpose and we had a mostly restful nights sleep.
