I went to Tokoriki with high expectations and the resort facilities, location and staff were perfect. Unfortunately the holiday was let down by the food and management. To give some examples, the lobster one night was so overcooked you needed a steak knife to eat it, breakfast had 2 courses the second corse came out seconds after the first so was sitting under heat lamps and my fresh tuna was cooked well done ? Very disappointing, we spoke to the manager Robert and emailed him and got no response. It could have been so amazing and we were planning to return, not now.

I can’t even begin to describe how amazing our time was at this gorgeous resort. We chose to do a helicopter transfer & highly reccomend that mode of transport if you can! The view flying in was out of this world! Liti was there to greet us and made our trip so special throughout the whole time. We actually got engaged within the first couple of hours of being on the island and the staff went above and beyond to make it special for us, with Liti even organising someone to come and play guitar for us in our bure just after it happened. The staff really make you feel like family; it’s so nice walking through any part of the property and getting greeted by name! We did the full meal plan option & it was the best decision! The food is OUTSTANDING. The chef, Tom, curates such great menus for each meal - we couldn’t wait to see what would be next! We did the teppanyaki dinner one night which i highly recommended as Mopsie the chef is very talented and makes the night so much fun! We also had an oceanfront dinner the night of our engagement which was such a beautiful setting. We were also lucky enough to meet the owner & another member of the management team who were so lovely & personable, you can see why the resort thrives! I cannot fault anything!!!! If you are on the fence about booking, just do it - you won’t regret it!!! Tokoriki will always be a special place for us & we can’t wait for our next visit!

I went with my mom for a birthday trip and I don’t even know how to explain how incredible this place was. We stayed in the beachfront pool villa and it was absolutely magnificent. The view, the design, the atmosphere, even the tiniest details were beautiful. You could tell that whoever designed this place cared about every single element. It didn’t feel generic or rushed. It felt intentional and peaceful. I brought my camera with me because I knew I’d want to remember everything. And honestly, pictures still didn’t do it justice. The room itself was something else. Waking up with the ocean right in front of us, the private pool, the comfort of the space, the way everything flowed was just next level. It was the kind of place that made you slow down and breathe. The food was unreal. Every meal we had was so good. The chef was genuinely the kindest person on earth. On our second night, he made something off the menu just for my mom, which was such a sweet gesture. You could feel the love in every part of the service, not just the food. They weren’t just doing their job. They wanted us to be happy. And they made sure we were. During teppanyaki dinner, they surprised me with a birthday cake. I didn’t expect that at all. They remembered it was my birthday without anyone needing to remind them. The night was already so fun, but that just made it feel even more special. They played games with everyone at the table and it got people talking and laughing. It made everything feel relaxed and warm. The staff at Tokoriki are something else. From the moment we arrived, they sang for us. They remembered our names. They treated us like actual people, not just customers passing through. Their kindness is something I haven’t experienced anywhere else. Even when they couldn’t help with something, they still tried. They always tried. That meant a lot. I also want to mention the spa. I didn’t realise I had to book in advance, and by the time I asked, they were fully booked. But they still managed to make room for me, even when it was full. That kind of effort and flexibility is rare. They didn’t make me feel like an inconvenience. They just quietly made it happen. The whole resort was stunning. The gardens, the walkways, the spa, the pool, the common areas! Everything was just so peaceful and well thought out. It never felt crowded. It felt personal. Like it was built for you. The only thing I really hope they improve is the Wi-Fi. There was Wi-Fi in the lobby, but not in our room, or at least not one we could access. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but it’s something I hope they change. Having Wi-Fi in the rooms would make a huge difference, especially for people who want to stay connected while relaxing. Other than that, everything was perfect. Tokoriki gave me the best birthday I could have asked for. I left feeling rested, cared for, and so, so thankful. I would absolutely go back. And if they bring Wi-Fi to the rooms, I’ll be booking again for sure. Note to

This was a once in a lifetime experience for us and definitely worth it. The resort was very comfortable and meticulously maintained. We arrived to a fun welcome song and they also gave a farewell song on our last day. They provided a helpful changing room so that we could freshen up while waiting for our room to be ready. Our room was very nice and provided a lot of privacy, a direct path to the beach, air conditioning, two sinks, and both outdoor and indoor showers. We felt very safe here and never worried about our belongings as we went to the beach and pool. We did the included snorkeling and had a wonderful time. We also bought an introductory scuba session and it was amazing. Our guide, Savi, stayed with the two of us the entire dive to keep us safe and together. All of the meals were delicious and provided a good variety with a nice rotation. We got the full board meal package so that we could enjoy all of the meals including appetizers and desserts. The "island boys" sang Fiji songs and also a lot of famous songs accompanied by their acoustic guitars during lunch and dinner. We really enjoyed their music and talented voices. Revecah at the restaurant took very good care of us and made us feel like family. Kris was very responsible and helped to take wonderful pictures of us. Ana and Moxley made the Teppanyaki night very fun. All of the staff were incredibly kind and warm. They always made the time to answer any questions we had and to help us out. Wise always greeted us with a smile and was very talented and knowledgeable about everything. Sai was very welcoming and helped coordinate our departure transport, and even continued waving bye to us after we were far away from the dock. The only hiccup that we had was booking through Costco Travel. The agent didn't inform the airline, Fiji Airways, that we had completed payment. This kept us stuck in the airline system until we called multiple times to get it resolved. Also when we added and paid for the meal package, Costco didn't inform the resort. So we had to call Costco Travel from the resort to get them to fix it while we waited. Maybe Costco Travel isn't so experienced with working with Fiji. But my advice is to keep an eye on things and don't hesitate to call Costco Travel if something doesn't seem right, that they can only fix on their end. We loved this resort and the people and are glad we made the journey here.
