Exclusive and quiet (unless a rocket launches), upstairs apartment in downtown Titusville. The building is on the Indian River right across from the Kennedy Space Center's launch pads and two blocks from Titusville's common area with restaurants, shops and clubs. A large window in the living room will allow you to look down Indian River Avenue to Astronaut Memorial Park and Sandpoint Park. It’s a people (or dog) watchers paradise. Your flat is just South of Scobie Park and there are several more parks North toward the city marina. Although not directly on the river it is just down the stairs and around the corner to view launch pads and scheduled rocket launches from the Space Center.About pets:Pets allowed: dogs less than 50 lbs per pet (limit 2 pets total).About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About checkIn:Check in after 3:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 24.About events:No events allowed.

One of the best stays we’ve had. The Fly Fishing Flat felt as comfortable as our own home, it was super cozy with really great decor. My wife and I both agree, we could see ourselves settling down in a place just like this. We were 12 minutes from Kennedy Space Center and walking distance to great restaurants and the quaint Main Street. You can watch the rockets launch from right outside your unit - it’s directly across the river. The Sunrise is worth waking up for!Communication with Captain Mitch was spot on, he was very responsive.

The Fly Fish Flat was excellent. The flat was clean and comfortable. Living area was large enough for ease of lounging and visiting. Bedrooms were outstanding with soft mattresses and very clean linens. Bathroom was well equipped with towels. Water pressure was great. Our family enjoyed the location. We walked to restaurants and other businesses. The area was also great for an evening stroll. We were able to get everywhere with ease from this location. Captain Mitch was a delight to work with and easily accessible. We would absolutely stay again and recommend Fly Fish Flat to others.

Fantastic Flat!
Capt. Mitch’s Fly Fish Flat is definitely a 10/10 accommodation. The unit is conveniently located, nicely decorated and very clean. We enjoyed watching the rocket launch from the driveway and visiting some of the local restaurants within walking distance.

Spring Weekend
Place was clean and nice. However, the check-in was a terrible experience. The keypad access directions were sent to us via text and through the VRBO app. Both were incorrect and it took 7 unanswered texts, 7 unanswered calls, several messages through the VRBO app and finally a call to VRBO customer service to get the owner to respond. This delay caused us to miss dinner plans with friends and was a terrible end to what had been a great day. Hopefully he will correct the access instructions for future renters.

2025: A Space Odyssey
So, I am really hesitate to share this hidden little gem in Titusville, but alas, Capt. Mitch was far too gracious of a host to not let even know! Anyway, we made it down here to finally see a launchand explore the Space Coast and this was just the perfect home base. We would have liked to have enjoyed the place more as it was perfectly set up for a gateway on the inside. There is plenty to explore within walking distance as well as driving distance. We capped it all of by finally getting to see a launch on the last day of our trip. Do yourself a favor, if you want the perfect home away from home, than look no further, but most importantly when you come down...explore! and and and

This place is so adorable!
What an amazing place. It was spotless and I am very picky. It's much bigger than what the pictures show. It definitely has a nostalgic feeling with all the wood accents and I absolutely loved the smell! I'm a weird smell person and this was perfect. Great communication and Captain Mitch is very easy to work with. Thank you again!

Bird watchers delight
Great location with quick easy access to Merritt Island bird watching and Canaveral Lakeshore. View of the Space Center and launch area was exceptional. Sunrise views of the water and the birds were great.Historic downtown Titusville was a few steps away with nice casual local dining options. The apartment was roomy, inviting, clean and comfortable. Well stocked with towels. Kennedy Space Center was also just a short ride away. The host Captain Mitch was helpful and pleasant.
