Rooftop Tirana

A great visit to Tirana, friendly people, fantastic atmosphere, and wonderful food. Kristina showed me the property and was very approachable. She even emailed me a things to do list while staying in Tirana. A wonderful room with a fantastic view, really comfortable bed and fantastic facilities. Will definitely be staying again.

Il Rooftop si trova in una posizione centralissima a Tirana, a due passi da tutto. È collocato all’undicesimo piano di un palazzo. Ha un corridoio comune dove si snodano tutte le camere. Servizio di risposta ai messaggi rapidissimo e informazioni chiare. Ingresso, corridoio, mal illuminato e non si presenta bene, con pavimenti sporchi e piante ormai morte da tempo. La camera era carina, affaccio cortile interno la nostra, dotata di diversi comfort ma assenza di un phon per asciugarsi i capelli. La porta della stanza era davvero fine e vedevamo la luce del corridoio. Insomma per una sola notte può andare bene, ma aggiungendo una piccola differenza si può puntare in hotel anche di 4 stelle dotati di tutto.

Il posto è centralissimo, le stanze sono pulitissime e si gode di una bella vista . La sera prima ci hanno contattato via whatsapp mettendosi a disposizione e chiedendoci se avremmo gradito il servizio navetta dall ‘aereoporto. Arrivati nel posto mandiamo un messaggio e dopo pochi minuti arriva una ragazza gentilissima che ci accoglie e addirittura ci permette di anticipare i check-in previsto per le 14,00 , già a partire dalle 11.00 del mattino, dandoci un’altra camera rispetto a quella che avevamo prenotato e che sarebbe stata libera per le 14.00. Con nostra sorpresa la nuova camera era col balcone e la vista era davvero incantevole. Per qualsiasi necessità o informazione bastava scrivere via WhatsApp e subito ci rispondevano. Cosa molto importante che abbiamo apprezzato, oltre alla macchina del caffè Italiano, è stato il fatto che tutto era plastik free: acqua, bicchieri e tazzine erano tutto in vetro.

I stayed at Rooftop Tirana for two nights and its location could not have been better. The property sits right on Skanderbeg Square, placing me within walking distance of great eateries, key attractions, and everything that makes the centre of Tirana lively and convenient. The host was warm and hospitable from the moment I arrived, creating a very welcoming start to the stay. The room was impeccable, clean, and well equipped with the amenities needed for a comfortable visit. It felt thoughtfully prepared and well maintained. One of the highlights was the balcony. It offered a pleasant outdoor space with a relaxing swing that made it easy to unwind while looking out over the surroundings. Overall, Rooftop Tirana delivers excellent value with its central location, great host, and comfortable room. It is an ideal choice for anyone wanting a simple, enjoyable, and convenient stay in the heart of the city.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. When we made our reservation a month in advance, we were promised a room with a spacious glass balcony and a beautiful view. However, when we arrived, we found something completely different—a small window overlooking a construction site. This was a huge letdown, and when we tried to address it with the management, they ignored us. We sent messages on WhatsApp, called several times, and received no response. The room itself was far below expectations. It was extremely small, with a dirty carpet and a strong smell of humidity. The bathroom was poorly maintained, with no door for the shower, making it very uncomfortable. On top of that, we had already paid online with a card, but when we arrived, they insisted that we pay in cash. This felt very unprofessional and dishonest. Although we had no choice but to stay, the real loss is theirs because we will never return, and we will make sure to warn our friends not to book here. If I could give 0/5 stars, I would. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Not recommended at all!
