Nice hotel for business. Kind front office employees. Especially the hospitality, expertise and problem-solving of Flint led to my colleagues and me finding the stay really nice, calm and effective for businnes. Thank you.

We stayed for three nights to attend Decibel Outdoor which was around 1.5 miles from the hotel. We've stayed in a Van Der Valk hotel before (Eindhoven) and were very impressed so decided to stay in the same chain again. It did not disappoint. We stayed in a comfort room. It was very big & felt quite luxurious. The bathroom had double doors that opened out into the bedroom which was a lovely touch. We also had a balcony. We ate in the restaurant the first night. The food was delicious & so were the cocktails. Breakfast was perfect. You couldn't ask for anything more with so much choice. The hotel also has a small self serve shop where you can buy drinks, snacks & toiletries. It's a little bit pricey but with no other shops in the local vicinity it's very handy. We used the pool on the first day. It's small but it wasn't busy and great for a cool down in the hot weather. My only reason for the 4 stars is the public transport link. The nearest bus stop is quite a walk from the hotel. A taxi from the train station on the first day cost €30 and considering this was a 3km journey I found that very expensive although this is not the hotels fault Would 100% stay here again. Nice hotel at the edge of Tilburg, nice roomy rooms , just the cleaning of the rooms was so so half was done , they left clean trash-bags… only thing as you can walk from one balcony to the other, a glass wins shutter would make it more safe and more easy for a little smoke as they do have standard ashtray on the balcony

Beautiful hotel with disappointing service and staff. We came in at 3 am from a long flight with our 2 year old with 2 weeks worth of luggage. The staff made us get our own Trolley and drag it upstairs. At breakfast the staff where no where to be found to assist and the freshly made eggs station sat ideal the whole time with burnt eggs only on display. When I asked for a little more late check out time than what I paid for, I was met with a harsh no. No smile nothing. Cold and brut. Come checkout time I asked for a trolley to get the bags down , they said they don’t have any. I asked for help to take my bags down because I had a baby and couldn’t do it alone. Again they said they can’t help. Not a 4 star hotel service or even a 2 star. Staff is disconnected and not friendly at all. I do not recommend it unless you speak Dutch or if your traveling with a family. Such a shame because the room is spacious and very quiet

Positive the bed is great. We had the VIP suite it is not cheap that is why the rating is only a 3. A lot of tear and wear in small things also a lot of dust for sure above the 180 cm and backsides TV Slept a few times now in different vd valk 6 mails before you arrive and small other things your money already blocked on your card before you are there and extra for food and drink never had that at other hotels. Breakfast not special not even fresh orange juice Staff is friendly cleaning not really.
