Enjoy peace and quiet roaming freely on 45 acres of beautiful horse ranch property surrounded by the foothills in Three Rivers. Visit mares, foals and stallions in thier pastures. There are horses and a pony in the horse stables adjacent to your living quarters. You have a private enclosed back yard patio with a barbecue and are just 6 miles away from Sequoia National Park entrance! The ranch has majestic views all around and the stars will hurt your eyes at night. Wild turkeys randomly roam the property and you’ll most likly hear roosters crowing in the mornings and coyotes or wolves howling at night. You are just minutes away from the hub of of Three Rivers. There are fun restaurants with gorgeous river views, a local brewery, two cool coffee shops, the best sandwitch shop, a yogert shop and a world famous candy store. In the summer there are rivers to swim and Lake Kaweah is minutes away. Winters are mild here and there is snow in Sequoia National Park. Its a unique experience year round. The ranch is located just minutes away from the park entrance!The ranch has plenty of private outdoor space to explore including over a mile of the Kaweah River, one of the only deep water swimming areas around, ponds, and a 60ft waterfall. Our property is great for the hiking, bird watching, swimming, or fishing enthusiast! A map of the land and its features will be provided upon arrival.The Cabin:The cabin has a delightful interior that blends rustic charm with modern day comfort. The open living space features comfortable seating and multiple windows that let in plenty of natural light while the kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, utensils, and stainless-steel appliances. There is no need to overpack for a stay at Sequoia Moonlight Ridge as our cabin has a laundry room complete with a washer and dryer for your convenience.After a day of exploring the ranch or hiking in Sequoia National Park, kick back and relax. Enjoy the views directly from the cabin porch and be on the lookout for some amazing wildlife sightings!Guest Access:You will have access to this private cabin and the 380 acres of private land shared only between our 5 cabins. As a guest of the ranch, we will provide you with directions to the cabin ahead of your stay. We recommend downloading Google map directions ahead of time due to AT&T being the only cellular service available. The cabins do have complimentary Wi-Fi for use during your stay.With an hour or more of notice our co-host, Kori, can meet you at the ranch entrance to answer any questions or help point you in the direction of your cabin.Other Things to Note: The ranch is made up of 380 acres of private land reserved for use by only our cabin guests (5 total cabins). Cabins are located on unpaved roads within the ranch property. There is Wi-Fi in the cabin with cellular service available (AT&T only). We hope you encounter some of the amazing wildlife during your stay, we ask that you please keep all food contained within the cabin.Although the ranch shares a property line with Sequoia National Park, the gates are about a 15-minute drive away. Be sure to reference the trail map for our favorite hikes within the private ranch and suggestions for other loved trails within the national park. During your park visit you can expect to see some of the world’s largest trees and maybe even some of the native wildlife. We have plenty of other recommendations we can’t wait to share including dining, grocers, activities, and other entertainment near Three Rivers. Relax in the comfortably situated living area as you look out the large sliding glass door at the oaks that give shade to the long driveway that leads to your secluded getaway spot. Convenient location makes trips to town a snap. Sequoia National Park gate entry is just minutes away. All of the quaint-coziness you can handle and the abundance of Nature that surrounds await your arrival. ...Just 6 mi to the SNP entrance!The spaceThe casita shares its property with the main house that it's on. Please use side gate beside main house to gain access to the entry door located on the side of the casita. Once you've gained entry you can utilize the sliding glass door to more conveniently move between your vehicle and the casita to transport your personal travel items.Guest accessYou have access to the side gate to gain entry to the casita, the back gate to explore the back grounds, and of course, the parking area directly in front of the casita. Note: if you street park you'll have a better view of the grounds from the sliding glass door of the casita. But do whatever works for you!There is a small storage area designated for host use that is located beneath the hot water heater cabinet. Other than that, the rest of the casita is open for guest use.Other things to noteLimit disposal of trash into outdoor bin during your stay. The Ash Mountain Suite is one of two private Suites available at the Rose Retreat. The Red Mountain Suite is adjacent and also available for booking. Spectacular views of Ash Peak and Red Mountain. BBQ, picnic and meadow area to enjoy. We live close by and available if needed.The Rose Retreat is located on a beautiful, private and quiet one acre mountain lot. Being located less than 1 mile to the gate of the famous Sequoia National Park makes us one of the closest properties available in Three Rivers! The space is a newly built (2022) custom property with two private modern Suites (Ash Mountain Suite and Red Mountain Suite). The Ash Mountain Suite is very spacious (450 sq feet) with amazing mountain views! The Suite has a queen bed, private shower, toilet and dressing area as well as a dining table, electric fireplace and Roku TV. Also, the Suite has a kitchenette with a wet bar, mini refrigerator, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, teapot, dishes and utensils. We provide complementary coffee, tea and a snack basket with oatmeal, popcorn, healthy snack packs, protein bars, chocolates & bottled water. A perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy nature with magnificent views of Ash Peak and Red Mountain. Also, our location is wonderful for bird watching during the day and stargazing at night. We have a propane BBQ grill with two picnic areas as well as a meadow to enjoy. NOTE: We do not have a washer & dryer as previously listed on Vrbo (Vrbo technical error).We are located in the quaint, artistic mountain town of Three Rivers. There are many restaurants, shops and activities to explore. The top rated Gateway Restaurant is a local favorite and located ¼ mile away. Breathtaking river views, delicious food, full bar and open 365 days a year serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also, The Totem Market is less than 1 mile away. The Totem is a small market with casual food, deli, BBQ, beer, wine & supplies. Perfect location to pick up goodies for your picnic basket! Both The Gateway and The Totem Market rent chains if needed.We offer our guests convenient and private self check in. You can check yourself in using the keypad. Your personal 4 digit keypad code will be sent to you 5 days prior to your check in date. Check in time is 3:00pm. The Suite is often ready earlier and we are happy to offer an early check in when available.We have safe and secure parking available on the property. The Suite includes one designated parking space. We can accommodate a second car next door upon request. Please inquire if needed. Wi-Fi and phone reception can be spotty in the Sequoia National Park area. We are thrilled to have Spectrum high speed internet on our property.
