Brookby Motel

Great little find in Thames set back in a quiet lane, but still easy walk to town. The self contained unit was spacious, very clean, comfortable & we felt right at home. King bed had quality linen, was comfortable & had good pillows. The unit has a well equipped kitchenette. I would highly this motel, we will definitely stay again.

Excellent accommodation, friendly, helpful owners who go the extra mile. The quality of the facilities was exceptional, huge bed and quality bedding. Lovely to have an outside space surrounded by greenery with a babbling brook behind them for an oasis of calm. A bit of a walk into town but well worth it.

I don't usually give 10/10 but in our subjective opinion this motel is excellent. Its a refurbished older property so has plenty of space separate bedroom , dining , shower bathroom. It was very clean with lots of little extras . The host was welcoming and gave us good advice re dining out , within walking distance. It does have an equipped kitchen for those who wish to self cater. A nice feature was the rear balcony which looks out over the bush covered hillside and is adjacent to a stream. We though the motel represented great value. The only downside was we didn't get to meet the resident cat !

This was a lovely Motel. Very clean and spacious, we loved the one bedroom unit and really enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the sun with the sound of the stream in the background. The owner was very helpful, we have a big car and two bikes, which she very kindly allocated us two car parking spaces. This was somewhere we could happily stayed longer. Highly recommended.

Beautiful refurbished units. Very clean and had everything we wanted for two day stay. Handy to shops and ammenities. Friendly, efficient staff. Quiet tucked away location with lovely gardens. Very comfortable beds. Both my friend and I would love to go and stay again.

Great neat, clean motel close to town. Excellent service from staff. Will definitely stay again. We were a motorcycle group and arrived wet and tired, nothing was to much trouble. Quiet location with river walk nearby. The motel matched the ambience of the lovely town of Thames.
