My wife and I stayed here on Sunday 31st March for one night en route to Tenby in Wales. We had a voucher as a present and I upgraded to a 4 poster room. It was lovely and clean and the bed was so comfortable. Our voucher included an Evening meal It gave us £25 each to spend from the menu. The menu had more than enough choice if you didn't want to spend more. Breakfast was also included and was cooked to order.It was excellent. All the hotel staff were lovely and polite and very friendly. The hotel was clean and warm We had a lovely stay and will definitely return

The Snooty Fox Sunday lunch has become an almost weekly staple. The quality and quantity of the food is excellent and the staff are attentive, but not fussy. We had a party of 8 two weeks ago, and a solo lunch today - the food and service was to the same high standard each time and I can’t recommend highly enough for a relaxed Sunday lunch.

I was given a voucher from buy a gift for afternoon tea and decided to try the snooty fox at Tetbury. When I booked the experience they could not validate my voucher so asked me to send an email which I did. After two days I phoned them and they said the voucher was ok and confirmed my booking they never replied to my original email. We then went on the day to have afternoon tea and were shown a table. We were served tea and after 40 minutes we could see they had forgotten us. There was only 3 other couples there at the time . The waited apologised and offered us a glass of champagne which my wife pointed out was included already in our booking. We did get our sandwiches and cakes in the end but I felt the whole experience was pretty poor I would not go back again.

My husband and I stayed on Sunday 25th May. Found free parking near hotel and checked in hassle free. We booked a superior quiet room on top floor. Lovely big room although a little tired, We enjoys stroll around the town before dinner in the restaurant. We ordered mains and desserts. Could not fault service or food. Breakfast in the morning was again very good with lots of choices We hadn’t heard of the sack race until we checked in. Sadly we couldn’t stay but looked well organised with the hotel selling street food Only downfall was the shower in the room- couldn’t adjust the head with water aimed at wall

Hotel was selling food and drink at Tetbury wool sack races. Ordered 2 pulled pork rolls Which were swiftly made with multiple sauces and salads chucked in without asking what either of us wanted inside. Super odd. Had to get rid of both as I didn’t want sauce inside and the other person I was with cannot have creamy sauces due to allergies which we were not asked about. Also no disposable cutlery or anything like that to even eat it with so we gave up & disposed of them.

Our first visit to the Cotswolds and the Snooty Fox in Tetbury, we had a great welcome and stayed in a superior room which was great. A very well laid out room with plenty of space and a good size ensuite bathroom the only negative was the water pressure but this I would assume is common for a 500 year old establishment, this did not spoil our visit. We had a great time and we were looked after by the staff at both breakfast and dinner, I would recommend this hotel as a great place to stay whilst in the Cotswolds.

Another great stay at this lovely welcoming hotel. Really friendly staff and great service. Delicious steak dinner and wine and lovely breakfast with lots of cooked served breakfast options. Our room was large and airy with a huge comfy bed. Will look forward to our next stay. I think this was our 5th stay and we love it there.

Overstretched staff doing their best to maintain what was the last time we visited a great venue . But poor food poor service dint make up for a nice room . 3rd visit will struggle to book that hotel in Tetbury again as a first choice . We stay at Hatton Hotels a lot and as a Flagship in the Cotswolds it sadly was disappointing.
