Royal Motel Tenterfield

Nice place for dinner on a Monday evening. Needed to stay in Tenterfield due to flooding in QLD. This was one of the only places open for dinner. Glad we found it. Good food, good service. Very quiet. Hope more people visit here as was a decent pub feed.

Was here two weeks ago and used the Motel Rooms which were fine This time we stayed in the newly refurbished hotel room in the main building. Beautifully fitted out. Fan as well as aircon. All that you would expect in a good hotel. Bed very comfortable and the room as quiet as could be. The great thing is the restaurant and the bar are just downstairs and the food is quite excellent with two chefs involved. Loved it. We will be back soon! 👏👏

We didn’t stay here but this boutique hotel is a real gem. It has recently been very tastefully renovated by an energetic youngish couple. The rooms in the old section are gorgeous, however I didn’t see the motel rooms. The bar is set up for lunches, the dining room is open at night - Fridays and Saturdays. The lunches were good and the staff are very friendly. It’s just opposite the Tenterfield Sadler, so conveniently located to the rest of the town. They only have 1 TV which was switched off - a very pleasant change. All pokies have been removed. Highly recommend

Excellent staff from reception through to bar and wait staff. Great location with an easy walk to town. The newly renovated rooms upstairs were fantastic and well appointed. They were spacious, clean and had quality fitout. The bar had an extensive selection and good on tap beer including some local breweries. The menu while limited was good quality and reasonably priced. Value for money accommodation, good bar offering and service as well as good dining option made this a memorable stay. I'd highly recommend this venue if staying in Tenterfield NSW.

Excellent service, great food & a beautifully renovated hotel. Worth a visit if staying or passing through Tenterfield - great place for a drink or meal in the fantastic newly renovated beer garden /al fresco area or inside in the beautiful bar and lounge areas. Perfect for groups, families, kids & travellers & is also Pet friendly!

Great experience all round. The owners are very passionate about their project and have done a great job renovating the motel and old pub. We stayed in one of the rooms in the pub section - room/bed and bathroom were fabulous. We ate in the pub bar (the restaurant was closed on the night we were there) - comfortable location with a good selection of pub food classics to choose from - couldn't fault the staff, menu, portion size or meal itself.
