Room was ok, a bit spartan but clean. The restaurant, on the other hand, was dreadful. Very little choice, and the main course was described as veal but was closer to a cow that died of old age; the chunks of meat had apparently been boiled or stewed, and were completely inedible. The meal was the worst I've ever had! The proprietor was very strange: a dead ringer for Basil Fawlty buy without the charm - in fact the whole place was a French equivalent of Fawlty Towers; one star is far too good a rating for this place. Avoid this place like the plague, unless you desperately need somewhere to stay the night - and if you do, staybbaway from the restaurant!
