My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights whilst attending Starmus La Palma. We had a wonderful experience, with the most personal attention from all the staff, particularly Jose and Marta, from the moment we checked in until we left. We enjoyed breakfast and a fabulous evening meal in the restaurant with excellent service. Known as a historic establishment set in a tropical garden, we chose this due to the excellent reviews which set the scene for our entry into a bygone age. Portraits and paintings adorn the walls together with porcelain vases, antique furniture and a sunken bath in our spotlessly clean room. This is certainly an exclusive place, almost a museum, with a small swimming pool and tranquil surroundings, yet with easy access to the small town of Tazacorte. Our sincere thanks to all who make this such a special place and our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

The genuine historical guesthouse located in the green surroundings. Nice swimming pool and decent gourmet restaurant. The rooms are varied in terms of climate and views. The first one we got, was too dim, the second sunny and with nice view from balcony. Since there are many antiques on the equipment of this entity, not everything is well-functioning, but this this the price to be paid for uniqueness. The staff was very helpful and polite, but breakfast bit disappointing. Expensive place.

Excellent hotel in every aspect,great staff that treat you like family,wonderful breakfasts ,great rooms ,gardens ,to relax in and of course the pool area to chill out,walking distance from the lovely village of Tazacorte and the beach ,can’t wait to return

A lovely small and peaceful hotel with very friendly staff. Plenty of choice at breakfast and the food in the restaurant in the evening is stunning. The uncrowded pool in the lush gardens is a great place to relax. We would recommend hiring a car to easily explore the island.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at Hotel Hacienda de Abajo. From a warm welcome on arrive, all the staff were exceptional, friendly, and always ready to assist with advice and reservation requests. The gardens and pool are very pleasant and a relaxing atmosphere. The location is ideal, with easy access to the town and the coast (short(ish)) walk down to the black sanded beach). Plenty of parking and close to a variety of bars and restaurants. I would recommend Hotel Hacienda de Abajo to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable holiday in La Palma

Exceptional dinner options The dining experience here is unforgettable. The fideuá was flavorful and generously portioned, and the dessert menu was equally impressive. The service is attentive and professional, adding to the overall excellence.
