It is an overstatement to call it a resort. Most of resort bungalows are run down, the fences within the resort are completely rusty and dirty and the houses are full of with ants. Also, on the beach and within the resort area many dogs are running around without any lashes, so children can not play around. Please refer to the photos.

Lovely campsite, gorgeous setting by beach. My children loved the pool and my son enjoyed the football activitities. We were disappointed on last day to be told we couldn't use pool, showers etc after midday while we waited for our taxi at 3pm. However, overall a positive experience staying in a bungalow and we would return. Altafulla was lovely and an easy walk and the train station was easy to get to as well.

Stayed 16 nights on one of the XL pitches with private bathroom facilities. We loved this site and is the best we stayed at during our 12 week Spain and France tour. Lovely large pitches. Great food and drink onsite. Short drive to Mercadonna supermarket also. Gym is really well equipped and fitness / spinning classes all included with pitch fee. Excellent padel tennis courts and a traditional tennis court. Great instructors . Right on the beach but unfortunately dogs not allowed on. Will definitely return in the future. Oh, and weather was amazing in May

The heating of our bungalow was not working and it was very cold and rainy. The service was terrible, we spent 3 days and 2 nights in a frozen bungalow because they didn't want to offer us an alternative The people from maintenance kept on coming to check the heating but were not fixing it.

Noisy. Camping sites normal and more expensive every year for the same service. Not internet connection, no WiFi, and no 3G, 4G, 5G data coverage for all providers. We were isolated. No professionals shows during night as other years. Now all are staff shows that are very poor and boring.

The resort is beautiful, and the location ideal. The restaurant and snack bar have so much option and the food is delicious. The staff at reception do the bare minimum: check in is at 5pm and there is no flexibility even if your room is ready (we arrived early, waited at the porch outside the room for hours until the electric key worked). We also asked for late checkout and were given a firm NO, without them even checking if our room was even available. I am heavily pregnant and travelling with a toddler and an elderly mother, so I would have appreciated if they simply made the effort to look in the system to see if they could accommodate our request. Instead, we were told to make sure we leave the room on time and head to the cafe by the pool. The temperature is really high at noon and it would have been nice if they had shown some understanding for our situation. They didn't have to, but it would have been appreciated. Finally, they do not keep luggage like so many other resorts do, so we had to carry our luggage for 4h in the heat until departure as we didn't have a car to put it in. I know it's our problem but the lack of flexibility is really not helpful.
