I travelled with my 2 teens.Nice people, nice place. Very clean. They help you if you need info. The food is MARVELOUS! We took twice the avocado plate. My son took twice the french toast and we all appreciate a lot the saturday special diner. The yoga class help recover from surfing muscle pain.. We rent house tree appartment. Feel like at home.

The new treehouse was so tranquil. The aesthetic was perfect! The property is very welcoming and relaxing. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food, AMAZING! Every dish is perfection! They also have a little boutique that has some of the best pieces. Overall, hidden gem!!! Great community vibe with an awesome local spirit.

Yael and the whole SoulShine team are amazing and make you feel at home right away. We loved the food, the pool and how family friendly it was. The surfer villa is very spacious and has a fully equipped kitchen. Avellanas also has a lot to offer: wonderful beach, good restaurants and a great surf.

This is a lovely serene location with great staff and beautiful clean rooms. It is right near the beach and is in a really quiet location but there are restaurants and some small shops. It’s also a short drive from Tamarindo and bigger stores. The best part about the property is the food! The brunch is amazing and the food is so fresh. I enjoyed my stay there.

Food is incredible. Yael and her family are lovely and welcoming. Property was beautiful, spacious, quiet and peaceful. Lots of iguanas, birds, and monkeys roam freely through. Little walk or quick drive to beach and other restaurants. Very happy with our stay here.

Great place. Wonderful family owned with phenomenal food- breakfast/lunch best in town and Saturday night dinner option- great pool, close to the beach and comfortable beds. Highly recommend. Accessible surfing and really beautiful flat beach- easy to take runs on.

We stayed here for two days coming out of a retreat. First guests in the new treehouse The place is a quiet oasis. So calm and serene. The food is out of this world. We met the owners (and their children and pets). So nice! Will definitely come back

This Petit Hotel is a great place to stay in Avellanas. It is also a great place to eat. Excellent experience. Lovely people. My son and I stayed at Soul Shine, and we definitely recommend it. To walk up to the sound of the monkeys and do yoga by the pool was our favorite, and the breakfast food is divine.

Our stay at SoulShine was wonderful and we would highly recommend to anyone. When walking to your room, you immediately realize that you made the right choice. The owners and staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the landscaping is beautiful with tropical plants and flowers everywhere. You feel as if you are walking into a tropical oasis! We had been in Costa Rica for 4 days prior to our stay at SoulShine and one of the disappointments was that our girls had not seen any monkeys. As soon as we checked in our room, we heard howler monkeys and stepped outside to see a family in a tree directly behind our cabana. It was a highlight of our trip! The pool area is gorgeous with resident iguanas basking in the sun and the food delicious. SoulShine is also an easy walk or quick drive to the beach and delicious restaurants. We had a great stay and hope to return.
