더 엔젤 & 블루 피그(The Angel & Blue Pig)

The room was fine, adequate, clean. There was only a shower not a bath, which was a tiny disappointment. There was a bit of high jinx’s noise from outside at bedtime but that is to be expected from a central location on a Saturday night. Parking was an issue. The instructions given were overly simplified and just not clear enough. Really could do with a line drawing or What3Words location PLUS some signage. We ate in for dinner in a large group. The service was poor as provided by one individual at least, an order for a vegetarian curry came as a chicken curry, pudding came with ice cream despite asking for custard. A couple of the main dishes were underwhelming, including fish and chips which was dry - possibly fresh frozen? InItially being called ‘my lovely’ was charming but after the second or third time it became irritatingly patronising. Good location

Very welcoming and genuine, our room was very well appointed , spotlessly clean , bed was very comfortable towels were of a good quality and size, we ate an evening meal which was excellent , again the waitress was very friendly and attentive, also free parking, will definitely book another visit

A very enjoyable 2 night stay. My single room was comfortable and the breakfast choices were good. The hotel was centrally located in the High Street and in easy reach of public transport (bus and train) connections. The purpose of my stay was to walk on the coast path from Chewton Bunny to Lymington. As and when I walk on the coast path from Lymington I will almost certainly stay in the Angel & Blue Pig again.

Overall the Angel and Blue pig was a lovely place to stay. We had the pleasure of having dinner in the pub downstairs on the night we arrived. Breakfast was an option these where both delicious meals. Only one fault I could comment on was been charged the hot drink with our breakfast, when usually we have had breakfast in other places a hot drink is included with breakfast.

this is a welcoming pub with a quirky, tired building. Finding the car park proved the first challenge and the help from the pub was mixed. The pub is very central for everywhere in Lymington. Pub food was reasonable and service was friendly. We had a deluxe room which was lovely, our friends had basic rooms which were tiny and in need of redecorating. All the showers were very weak volume of water.

Rooms are clean if dated. Nice to have a proper coffee machine. Food was very good and service was very good too. Would have been 5 stars but the real ale was not the best. Good location in town but hard to find car park. That like is park our motorbikes in the back.

Fantastic atmosphere and very friendly staff. Rooms are very well appointed and clean. Breakfast was really good and all at a very reasonable price. Would definitely stay again. Pub is right on the main shopping street so very well located but still very quiet and a very comfortable sleep.

Great friendly welcome on arrival. The car park behind the hotel is so easy, convenient, and private. On check-in, we were told there would be a table for us in the morning for breakfast if required. We had decided to have a meal in the evening, this was good quality and great value and service was attentive. Now for the room, it was clean, comfortable, and large enough for 2 double beds. We think this hotel is fantastic, cosy, quirky, and full of character. We will revisit next time we go to Beaulieu. ( approximately 15 mins to Beaulieu for future travellers)

We returned to the Angel and Blue Pig for a celebratory night away. From start to finish, we had an amazing stay. Warm and very friendly welcome when we checked in, very friendly bar and waiting staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was lovely too, freshly cooked to order and great service too! Really looking forward to our next stay, hopefully sooner rather than later! Thank you all!!
