We stayed one night at Stella Maris Hotel de Luxe in Svendborg. The hotel itself is beautifully kept and spotless, with a peaceful, scenic setting that feels refined and relaxing. Check-in and check-out were seamless and handled efficiently by the front desk staff — everything was straightforward, and we were able to settle in and depart without any hassle. Parking was available right out front, which made arrival and departure even easier. Our room was clean and comfortable, matching the polished feel of the hotel. However, breakfast was a letdown. We arrived right as service began, yet the eggs were already cold, and the fruit salad included apples that tasted old, as if they had been sitting since the day before. The staff working breakfast were not particularly welcoming or attentive, which added to the disappointment. While the property itself is lovely, the food and service at breakfast did not reflect the same level of care. With improvements in that area, it could be a truly outstanding stay.

Valentine weekend trip first time here but not our last. Great 5 course menu with wine and a tasty breakfast the next morning. I can give this hotel and restaurant my best recommendation for anyone who would like to experience world class service and dinning

The staff is super nice and welcoming. The waiters are top professionals. The rooms are nice, cozy and the cleaning is in order. The food was fantastically good and the whole evening, night and morning was taken care of very well. The breakfast was not the traditional one, extra delicious.
