This is a fantastic hotel from every aspect. Situated opposite the lovely train station and gardens, the hotel itself is well decorated, seems freshly done up. We fell in love with it the moment we walked in. The lovely young man who greeted us was so gentle and kind, and the happy, fresh decor captivated us instantly. We were early so he took our luggage into keeping and offered us the use of the fantastic beverages machine and water, and snacks, and of course the bathroom. Then we go up in the quaint lift and find such a huge, clean room wonderfully day light lit, with a wonderful balcony and window overlooking the gardens and train station. The beverages and snacks are available free of charge all the time which is a real boon. We spent four nights in the harmony of the surroundings. It was so quiet and the bed and pillows were smashing. Breakfast was wonderful, varied, and the space was so lovely. Delicious beverages from that great machine were super too. We rested there in the evenings on a break from our jaunts. The location is absolutely superb. We walked practically every where. If you need transport (we did only twice - once to get to our meeting place for our medieval villages tour via Get your guide (fabulous) and the other back from the European Parliament to which we actually walked), there are buses right out the railway station across the street. In the interest of full disclosure, there are no luggage racks in the room and no closet, just open shelves, which is a bit of a pity. Toilette soap is a combo of shampoo and shower, no shower cap. One could very probably request all or any of this from the receptionists. It didn't bother us. This hotel is a home away from home. I thought the price too was very reasonable. Go forth and enjoy!
