2nd visit to this great BnB .. the owner Jo is a lovely woman .. the rooms are perfect , great nights sleep and the breakfast is amazing .. we booked a week in a cottage just up the street but wanted to come back here as we loved our first stay so added another night to our holiday.. Stayed for one night as going to the oyster festival, they were so helpful from booking to leaving , they booked us a table at local pub for dinner and recommended taxi / buses to use , we had a very warm welcome . Very cosy immaculate and comfortable room Loverly breakfast . Will definitely book again when in area . Thank you so much for your hospitality

This is such a beautiful guest house. We travelled as a family of four, kids are aged 11 and 8, for one night before catching the ferry from Stranraer to Belfast. It was the perfect place for a stop over. It’s only a 20-30 minute drive round to the ferry the, halfway round you pass through Stranraer which has a few options for food. Jo helped us find somewhere to eat and with that we walked up to the local pub for a drink and then to the Craignelder for dinner before settling down for the night. Jo was very helpful and welcoming, the rooms were so clean, tidy and well furnished. The homemade cookies were the perfect addition! Breakfast the following morning was perfect. There is a wide range of choice, something to suit everyone, and it was beautifully cooked. We plan on making this trip more regular and so we won’t hesitate to book this guest house again! The little bird that sits in the window on landing was a funny addition and made my little girls day!

I absolutely loved this guest house and we were beautifully looked after. Never stayed anywhere so clean. Loved all the little touches and breakfast was delicious. Particularly rated the style and decor in our room and a toasty warm bathroom was super. Gorgeous smelling hand soap and moisturiser! Thanks to Jo for all the front of house hospitality and also to Sam for calling to say I’d left my earrings and then because we were too far away saying she’d pop them in the post. Much appreciated!!

Without a doubt the best B and B and most friendly and helpful folk we've found anywhere in Scotland. From when we arrived, we were treated like royalty. We had iced water and Jo's famous homebaked cookies waiting in our room. Lots of tips and information on all the many local beauty spots and beaches , plus help with where to eat , walk, shop , park etc plus some great suggestions of great wee gems not in the guidebooks.

Stayed over last night - what a pleasant surprise after a delayed ferry crossing… Beautifully presented guest house with loads of quality touches - biccies in room, good coffee/tea. Room very comfortable and very tastefully decorated - Jo, our host, super helpful and served a gorgeous breakfast! Highly recommended
