헤마반스 회그피엘스호텔(Hemavans Högfjällshotell)

We were disappointed to find that the once smart and comfortable hotel now more resembles a youth hostel. While the common areas are relatively nicely furnished and the rooms clean and functional, it is a place in visible decline. The major problem is a lack of staff and lack of attention to detail. The poor young male receptionists (two of them taking turns) did as good a job as they could given the circumstance, but they had not the time to keep the place cosy and the restaurant spotless. They were very friendly, but one could not but feel they had been ”dumped” with too large an assignment. We wanted to have supper, but the kitchen ran out of food on the first night and the second night delivered very disappointing mearballs and pasta school-dinners style. The spa with outdoor hot tubs - one of the reasons we booked there - were not generally open other than Friday-Sunday and booked for a private party the Sunday we were there. It is a pity, for the hotel given its ski-in-ski-out location is in the best spot by the pistes. If it were left to the Swedish Tourist Association (STF), I believe they would do a much better job och running it successfully.

Great service but the place would need som upgrading for the rooms. Make it more like a normal hotell.

It was unfortunate that the kitchen did not open for proper dinners.

There was no breakfast buffet but a paper bag with some breakfast was left in a fridge for us. No staff whatsoever (self service checkin), no pool or spa area (as is shown in all fronted pictures at **********) - we felt we got a bit ripped off as these things were not clear when booking.

Mysigt hotell, men mycket litet rum o badrum. Oerfaren personal i restaurangen (med mobil i bakfickan) Alldeles för liten huvudrätt. Oengagerad frukostpersonal. Reception/barkille den enda med gnista o serviceanda

Både nyoppusset og slitt på samme tid. Staffet er noe ferske og usikre. Store områder i lobbyen er veldig bra. God pizza. En iskald øl i lobbyen etter en dag i bakken er aldri feil.

Bokade rum med frukost, men ingen frukost fanns att tillgå. Lite dåligt kan man tycka, men i övrigt enligt förväntan. Alternativet "rum med frukost" borde tas bort.

I bokningen står att frukost ingår men det fanns ingen frukost på hotellet! Det var en besvikelse.

Vi booket i påsken og det anbefales ikke for folk over 25 år. Party hele natten. Hotellet er slitent og trenger en oppgradering og kvalitetsheving for å være et høyfjellshotell.
