I stayed here whilst on business, but can honestly say, business or leisure it would have mattered not with the service and trea**ent I was shown. From the second I was met when checking in, the Ops manager Josh, the service and food in the restaurant was faultless and very sincere and positive. Keep up the great work, look forward to staying again. Mark

Had a lovely 4 night stay at karma lake of menteith hotel. Stayed in heritage dog friendly room dog bed and bowls provided. Room was lovely and clean and tidy. Cleaners came in every day. Food was excellent we especially loved the fish and chips and burger. Service excellent nothing too much trouble. Staff so friendly and made you feel like part of the family Billy (dog) loved all the attention and cuddles and treats and tummy tickles from the staff. Fire pit lit outside at night was a lovely touch views over the lake were spectacular. Will reccomend to friends and family. Will return in future

The location of this hotel/restaurant is amazing. The view we had while eating our dinner was just beautiful. Unfortunately, the decor inside was old and tired - like the rug was stained and damaged. Service was friendly but he seemed overworked because he was one of the only servers working that evening. The first item I ordered, wasn’t available. They had just sold the last portion at 7PM? We both opted for the Chicken Balmoral based on the recommendation of our server - with my entree having some tweaks based on food allergies. The chicken was good - but was definitely better with the sauce it was supposed to come with. The true standout of the evening was the Rhubarb Ginger Crumble - that was over the top good! We enjoyed watching the sun set from our table - the scenery was just breathtaking.

Room was amazing, location was perfect. Breakfast superb but evening meal disappointing as we felt overpriced for the quality of food.

This was our first Karma experience in the United Kingdom. What a location the promotion pictures lived up to what it was all about. Overlooking the only Lake in Scotland, the rest are Lochs, you watch fishermen drift all over the lake fishing for trout. The Lake itself is home to Inchmahone Priory a historic ruin where Mary Queen of Scots once stayed during her many decades of avoiding the wrath of the Queen of England. On the priory island there are also a breeding pair of Osprey. A pretty special place. Our room was outstanding looking of the lake from every aspect. So close to all things Stirling, Loch Lomond, Glencoe, and The Trussochs. We will be back it is a beautiful location just to stay and do nothing or do what we did and use it as a base to see everything in that part of Scotland. It even snowed on our first day.

Nice little hotel in a nice location. Food on site is thoughtfuly prepared, delicious and fresh. Lots of vegan options too. Lovely walks around the area, and not far from Stirling (Visit the Castle!) Friendly staff. Very peaceful and scenic, we would come back again.

Was really looking forward to a return visit, was disappointed . Previously we had experienced a warm welcome this seemed to be missing this time, Nice room overlooking lake ( which is the central charm ofthe hotel) no toiletries in the room, which we have been used to in other venues, only liquid soap. Therre seemed tobe a lack of staff, the same person on duty all the time we were there. Sadly after three visits will not be returning.

Overpriced. Disinterested staff. Mediocre food. They tried to charge service on the bill. An utter disgrace. It was good but not any more. We also ate, the previous evening, at Nick Nairn’s place just a short distance away. The difference is astonishing.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were comfortable, clean and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent; you can help yourself to a choice of various cereals, pastries, fruit and cheeses. The evening meals were delicious too; I would highly recommend the southern fried chicken burger. We really enjoyed eating our meals whilst overlooking the beautiful lake and hillsides. The hotel is ideal for a getaway; only a short drive to Glasgow or Edinburgh and right next to the Trossachs National Park. We will definitely return.
