It is therefore the ideal holiday home for groups of friends as well as for families with young children due to the convenience of quickly reaching the beach without the need for a car. Lying in the extreme north-western corner of Sardinia, Stintino juts out towards Asinara, almost touching it. Right there, where it almost touches it, it shows its masterpiece, La Pelosa: a limpid and extremely shallow seabed for tens of metres, white and impalpable sand, dazzling and placid sea with all the shades of blue. Next to the ‘big sister’ is La Pelosetta, enclosed by a small island topped by an Aragonese tower (from 1578), the symbol of La Pelosa. From a ‘terrace’ on the ‘tropical’ beach, two hundred metres above sea level, you can enjoy a unique panorama of the unspoilt and wild Isola Piana and Asinara National Park: Stintino is the closest place to visit.
