프로테아 호텔 바이 메리어트 스텔렌보스(Protea Hotel Stellenbosch and Conference Centre)

Quite and comfortable hotel with parking, several restaurants and a winery near it. Swimming pool is rather small (it is only one minor minus of this hotel), breakfast is varied, coffee is tasty. You need a car to go somewhere because we didn-t see any public transport there. But in SA it is a normal practice to explore Cape Town by car.

酒店風景不錯 ，就是太大了，是一幢幢小別墅，房間來回酒店餐廳有點遠。房間還算乾淨，就是燈光偏暗，不利於有化粧需求的女性。

This is a great hotel with little houses. You get an apartment with two rooms, kitchenette. The breakfast was amazing, ask for the omelette. The Wingerd restaurant is great for a nice dinner with a variety of wines. The hotel is surrounded by a breathtaking area of mountains and vineyards. If you want to stay in the region of Stellenbosch, choose this hotel.

You get what you pay for! Wir hatten keine hohen Erwartungen und hatten nur für eine Nacht gebucht um die Verschiebung unseres Heimflugs zu überbrücken. Wir hatten keine hohen Erwartungen an das Hotel. Es war dann trotzdem wenig Licht und viel Schatten. Der Empfang war okay und freundlich wie man es für ein Business Hotel gewöhnt ist. Man parkt mit dem Auto direkt am Zimmer was sehr hilfreich ist. Das Frühstück war auch ganz ordentlich wie in einem budget-business Hotel üblich. Das Personal sehr bemüht und freundlich. Damit war es das aber schon mit dem Positiven. Die Zimmer sind sehr grosszügig mit separatem Wohn- und Schlafbereich aber auch sehr abgewohnt. Die Klimaanlage hat sowohl im Wohn- und Schlaf-Bereich nicht gekühlt. Die Betten waren okay und wir haben trotz der Hitze ganz gut geschlafen. Im Wohnbereich lag bei unserer Ankunft ein abgenagter Chicken-Wing Knochen auf dem Fussboden. Die ganze Anlage bis auf den zentralen Empfangs- und Restaurant- und Functions-Bereich wirkt wenig gepflegt. Für eine Tagung oder Offsite sicher okay und akzeptabel aber wir hatten schon ein klein wenig mehr Pflegezustand und Sauberkeit erwartet.

The best room arrangement. There’s a separate lounge area with the dining table and an extra couch bed if you choose. Very spacious and comfortable. The service is good with friendly staff. Reasonable spread of breakfast with alternatives. There is another restaurant , the Wingerd, on site offering delicious meals all day. Love the fact that the pool area has a braai area, this is such a great add on and thoughtful, 10/10 for that. Loved the gym, reasonable size with a good variety of equipment.

Nice place to stay for a business trip. Staff friendly, rooms clean and spaceious, quiet place, nice few from the breakfast room, too far away from Stellenbosch center to reach it without car or taxi.

We had the best time at the hotel, from checking in and being greeted with the biggest smiles to enjoying delicious breakfast and cooling off in the pools. Die Wingers has a great play area for the kids and the pizza was amazing. Thank you to the team at PH Stellenbosch, we will be back soon

Returned to this well positioned hotel with spectacular views of the mountain range - It is close to all the best places to visit - From the moment our reservation was confirmed by the friendly Duty Manager: Leroy, all was good - Leroy is exceptionally passionate about the hospitality industry and well knowledge to recommend places of interest - The Front Office Manager: Miriam was just great and infinitely accommodating - we appreciated her patience and faultless approach to ensure a memorable staB - breakfast is 5*, although the property opted for 3* rating - The croissants were of the best. All rooms have good views and here is enough to keep kids entertained.

Don’t sleep on this place if you are a high level Marriott customer. The top level suites they offer here are amazing. Spacious, beautiful views and easy access to all the wineries and top restaurants. Service here was impeccable and while I cannot speak to the food as I dined at all the big fancy spots in the area.
