Would recommend it was a nice stay

I travelled with children and I have allergies. It was quiet, comfortable and very clean. The showers were powerful and beds super comfy. I had two pull out beds for the children and I had a small double. Staff were very cheerful and kind. It felt more like a 4*. I cannot fault it. Food was great. Will be returning 😊

Brilliant staff, always there to help when we had questions. Very welcoming, room was lovely and clean. Food was lovely, and not far from the town centre so was definitely a positive. Would recommend to anyone who wants a nice hotel at an affordable price, Definitely will be going back again.

Premier inn good as expected from the chain. Very disappointed in attached Beefeater for dinner. Early in evening called into restaurant to book table and told to return anytime as plenty of tables available. On our return to do this, stood at wait to be seated desk for over 15 mins with waiting staff seeing us there but not engaging…..many empty tables could be seen. Decided to leave after 20 mins, staff member saw this and ran after us to say they were resetting tables and did we want to wait! If the staff had acknowledged us waiting for 15 mins we would have waited. Very poor customer service!! Went to Village Hotel grill next door for welcoming staff and excellent customer service. Premier Inn let down on this occasion by Beefeater unwelcoming staff and quite frankly rude to not acknowledge waiting customers in any way! Decided to go to other hotel for breakfast in morning as well!

The room was comfortable and clean but there were a few signs of wear and tear in the bathroom. There was a problem with houseflies in the restaurant. They were quite a few of them buzzing around the coffee machine and we saw one landing on the pastries. I reported the issue to the restaurant supervisor and the receptionist. It is clearly a food safety issue and it rather put us off our breakfast.

Stayed here, whilst visiting friends in the area. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is quite an old building, with a creaky staircase, but the rooms are nicely furnished and clean. We had a good stay and would consider returning if in the area again
