Great location. Fully equipped and comfortable units with amazing hosts! Within walking distance to everything in the village. Steps to the beach and shared access to the Placencia Beach Club as well as Ocean Breeze amenities. Returning

The accommodations were just what we needed for our stay. We enjoyed staying here and are planning to return in the future. It was like being at home only much warmer climate. Craig , Risa and staff are friendly, engaging and willing to help out so that you enjoy your visit.

Spent about four nights here while visiting Placencia. Easy communication, booking and check in. The Flying Toucan cabanas are located near the beach but not necessarily on it. They are located near the boardwalk which leads to more busy area of Placencia with all restaurants, bars and beach club. The cabana has pretty much everything you need, living room with couch and tv, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. No working desk unfortunately so had to work from the couch. No chairs to comfortably sit on the deck, so we just used kitchen chairs. Our stay was nice and easy, although we did have issue with the stove not working for the first day and also the A/C was not on when we arrived from the airport. I would expect them running the A/C to cool off the apartment as it was very hot and stuffy. The AC is located in the bedrooms which makes for great sleep, but its hard to keep cool air in the living room, kitchen and bathroom. We finally were able to cool the apartment down on our third day, but upon returning from our all day Ranguana Caye trip, we found that the cleaning crew turned the AC significantly down and whole place was hot again. Not the best thing you want to experience when returning back from sunny and hot beach. Besides that, our stay was nice and fun, and luckily for us we continued our Placencia vacation at Turtle Inn, which is probably the best place to stay in the area :)

We stayed at The Flying Toucan for two weeks this March to visit friends. We needed to extent our stay from our initial booking and Carla was very helpful in accommodating us. Carla met us at our Choco cabana when we arrived and checked us in while explaining the amenities. The Choco cabana was perfect for our stay. It is located in a quiet area of Placencia and yet walkable to all of the restaurants, stores, and beach. Our cabana was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our cabana was very clean and tidy thanks to Jenny. Carla and Jenny were available to answer any questions we had about the property or about getting around in Placencia. We would definitely recommend The Flying Toucan for a visit to Placencia. Thank you Craig and Risa for creating a great place to stay at while we were in Placencia.

Very comfortable home to stay in for our vacation.Loved the use of bikes,bbq,easy to access to beach and beach chairs.Extra goody was the passes for the Placencia Beach Club and use of a pool. Craig and Reisa were great hosts and made sure we had everything we required. Would definitely stay again!!!!!

I was in belize when these units were being renovated and knew I wanted to stay here. The owner was very accommodating with the reservations. Everyone I met while there were very courteous and went out of their way to help. Unit was furnished lovely and bedding clean and comfortable. We stayed 3 mos and had cleaning and linens periodically. Having a washer a dryer was a pleasant addition. Thank you Craig, Risa, Carla, the girls and jolly. Ellis and angel too. Also. Area was quiet and well lighted.
