This is a Fab hotel, clean and friendly in a perfect location, manos behind the bar is a legend. Nothing is too much trouble for babis on the desk and the 2 Maria's are simply amazing. I can see why the majority of guests are repeat customers as are we.

Latania Studios & Apartments was recommended to me by a friend who lives in Stalis, I read the reviews before going and did not see any of the negatives even with me being in the same area of the complex as a previous review (It is a complex of buildings there is no annex). The rooms are spacious and very clean, If you get a room facing the Latania play ground it proves to be a very nice sun trap on the balcony. Latania is slightly set back off the road so nice and quiet and only across the road to get to the beach. The staff are all very friendly and definitely NOT miserable or grumpy as per some reviews, they cannot do enough for you, the rooms are maintained daily and always with a smile. The pool area has plenty of sunbeds so no need to reserve early in the morning although there is a sign advising not to do this. There is a mixture of age groups who visit Latania so no one should feel out of place. There are lots of bars and restaurants either side of Latania Studios & Apartments. and lots to see in Crete itself. I would definitely stay here again next time i am in Stalis. It proved to be a very relaxing holiday for the break i needed. I'll be back again in August and will try to visit. Photos were taken early evening.
