Enjoy 200 ft of waterfront all to yourself! This camp provides ample indoor/outdoor living with an oversized screened in porch. The Grasse River is perfect for Kayaking and highly sought after by fishing enthusiasts. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed with a loft area that is best suited for children who are able to independently climb a ladder. The living room is equipped with a pull-out couch (queen) as well as a pull-out chair (twin). There are sliding barn doors on the living room for added privacy. Outdoor living at it's best! Previous guests have enjoyed viewing bald eagles, deer, herons and other wild life. There are multiple outside decks and a covered front porch. Relax by the fire pit with Adirondack chairs overlooking the river. You will find a large gas grill on the deck for summer cookouts. The camp is stocked and ready with all kitchen essentials, board games, DVDs, 2 Netflix-enabled televisions and a starter arrival package of toilet paper, paper towels and dish soap. There is a washing machine, however, the dryer is not hooked up at this time. A clothing line is available outside for drying. Beth’s Place II (new March 2020) It’s beautifully appointed, completely private, and located on the second floor above the garage of our home. It features a bedroom with a comfy queen-sized bed with a river view, TV, and closet storage. A spacious living room with a sleeper twin sofa, a pull-down full-size Murphy bed, TV, two swivel chairs, and an electric fireplace with a great light show. A well-equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare a meal, including a full-size stove, dishes, and a dining area. A lovely full bath with a washer and dryer, towels, wash clothes, and your basic toiletries, a private entrance with 14 steps to the door, and ample parking. Guest can enjoy their private apartment with its private entrance all to themselves.We know you will love the private outside space with a hot tub, chairs, fire pit, grill, and beautiful lights at night.Our property is pretty nice too! We have a putting green and a brand new pickleball court in the front yard and the Raquette river out back. The trail down to the river has handrails where it can be a bit steep. We also have kayaks and fire pit down by the river for guests to enjoy along with a private beach. Our stretch of the Raquette River is swimmable (we do recommend water shoes) and goes all the way to downtown Potsdam. You can park your kayak and enjoy all that Potsdam has to offer, and when you're finished, you can kayak downstream back home. Kayaking is available May through November and we cover the putting green once it snows. Please note that the igloo is shared with our other unit on the property, Beth's Place. Like I mentioned, we have another bed and breakfast on our property if you are looking for different dates or to accommodate more people.
