My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at the Spring Lake Inn. A wonderful, unique place set in time. Well managed, clean, quiet, a true gem! Just steps from the calming Ocean boardwalk or picturesque Spring Lake center of town. Simple & elegant with a welcoming foyer, beautiful dining room and relaxing front covered porch. I love staying at historic Inns, in unique rooms, at the Jersey shore, close to the ocean, with kind and accommodating owners and staff, and I found all of that at the Spring Lake Inn! Stayed for 5 nights in the beginning of September and enjoyed it so much, went back again for 5 more nights a week later! Enjoyed having my morning coffee and free continental breakfasts with a good book on the beautiful large porch every morning. I will be back!

I am having trouble finding the right verbiage to justly depict the overwhelmingly positive experience I had at the Spring Lake Inn over the course of my stay. In search of an escape down the shore for the weekend, I came across this historic inn and decided to give it a try. From the moment I walked through the door, the welcoming atmosphere made this vacation destination feel like a home away from home. Right off the bat my husband and I were greeted with smiles from the generous and knowledgeable innkeepers who were kind enough to allow us to check in early. Our room surpassed my expectations. It was perfectly cleaned and so cozy- the ideal room for a short trip to the beach. Also, the location of this inn is phenomenal! Each moment of our stay was a 10/10 due to the fact that we never had trouble finding an array of activities to partake in throughout the day- each of which started out with a scrumptious breakfast in the dining room. We are truly grateful for our experience and we look forward to coming back soon!

Unfriendly and cold front desk reception pervaded the entire experience. Spring Lake Inn itself is an historic building.

We loved our stay at Spring Lake Inn! The staff was extremely helpful, and the location couldn’t be better—just a 4-minute walk to the beach and about 20 minutes to downtown. There was plenty of parking available, which was really convenient. Breakfast was enjoyable, and we appreciated having fresh fruit available all day and sweet treats in the afternoon. The inn is charming with its historic character, though it may benefit from some updates in the future. Our room was on the smaller side, so next time, we’ll book earlier to secure a larger room. Highly recommend!

The Inn is beautiful and very clean. One block to the beach and one block to The ice parlor. We got badges to the beach. Loved the outdoor showers. Will definitely be back.
