I selected Wingate because of its great service in past years. However, two years after Covid it was not the same hotel I remember.
Arrived in November at Spokane GEG – late night flight – desk agent had no knowledge of my prior stays on record. I wanted to use/obtain accumulated points, but the desk agent said the system did not offer that info. Yet the folders for the keys said in several spots, “Wyndham Rewards.” “No matter who you are, where you’re going you can earn/use rewards."
I had booked room 329 a Deluxe Suite, 1 Bedroom, Accessible, Non Smoking (1 King Bed - Mobility) The key would not work after about 20 attempts. Went back to the front desk and the agent said the system was giving problems all day. Asked for another room and was sent to room 202. The 202 room was a downgrade from 329, no walk-in shower, no closet and generally felt not what I had ordered.
