Albergo Il Cacciatore

A lovely family run hotel with good service and breakfast. The room was traditional but comfortable. If there was an issue it was disappointing that there was not a refrigerator or a mini bar. Instead you purchased drinks at the bar at good prices with a communal refrigerator in the lounge for bottles of water at 1Eur each. Lovely terrace to take drinks and breakfast. Good location and only a short walk to restaurants.

I was thrilled to return to Spello taking 7 ladies with me. We all had our own rooms with lovely views of Mt Subasio and the olive groves on the hills and valleys. The staff was so very accommodating and helpful..,rooms were cleaned daily. Beds were quite comfortable, soft linens. Convenient storage closet with shelves and hanging space.. We stayed 8 nights..Breakfast every morning with a variety of fruit, breads & pastries, yogurts, juices, cappuccini e espresso. The terrace was so beautiful and in late afternoons we enjoyed snacks with wine & Prosecco we purchased at the local wine shop..They don’t have bar service but supplied glassware, small plates & napkins for our happy hours.. Any request we had was cheerfully accommodated.. Overall we were all very pleased with our stay.. The location is ideal..easy 2-3 min walk to restaurants & shops, a great bakery just down the street.. Il Cacciatore is exactly the type of small town hotel I appreciate when coming to Italy, clean, comfortable..historic..staffed and owned by local people who care about their guests.. When I return to Spello I will most certainly choose to stay at il Cacciatore..

Lovely and very roomy hotel in beautiful Spello. Our room 104 had an amazing view, was incredibly comfortable and very spacious with large bathroom. Fantastic views from reception and dining area. We arrived late and Jada waited for us and gave us one of the kindest and friendliest welcomes I’ve ever received. Helped us find a parking space and told us where everything was really clearly. I cannot recommend the hotel and Jada highly enough.

Super location in the most beautiful little city. The staff and everyone there gave super service. They spoke very good english and very friendly and kind. Large and very nice room. Everything clean. Nice bath with a bit tricky shower. No fridge. Good breakfast at the beautiful terrace. Also a nice bar.

The staff at this hotel are amazing :they are so friendly and kind. The hotel is spotless and the views over the valley were beautiful. We really enjoyed the breakfast and there was plenty of it. The room was spotless and there are numerous cafes and restaurants nearby. Spello is a very interesting town and we thoroughly enjoyed our two nights there.

Situato nel centro storico, con possibilità di accesso auto per scaricare i bagagli, poi si parcheggia a 5 minuti a piedi. Bei locali comuni per la colazione, anche in terrazza panoramica. La camera ed il bagno ampi e puliti, di recente ristrutturazione. Buona la colazione. Grande cordialità da parte del personale. Ottimo soggiorno
