The association also puts on regularly scheduled events and guests are welcome to attend all events on the property.Every Thursday night from late spring to early fall there are food trucks and live music scheduled on the condo patio by the pool and beach!Please also note, while the property does have a beach, the beach is actually off of the Cape Fear River, not the Atlantic Ocean. You are welcome to swim in the water, just be mindful it can be quite rocky at times and won't be your typical ocean/beach experience. Also, there is a “beware of alligator” sign on the beach. Can accommodate up to 6 cars or 4 cars and fishing boat and trailer. You can sit on the front porch swing or rocking chairs and listen to bands on Thursday night when playing in Franklin Square Park. The other 2 bedrooms each have a queen size bed. All bedrooms have their own Smart TV. The living room has a 50" Smart TV with comfortable seating. Enjoy eating outside on the screened porch that includes a dining table for 6 plus additional seating, and a gas grill just off the outside door. Books, games, & cards are available for both children & adults. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, blender, filtered water, electric teapot, and coffee maker (single serve & 12 cup pot). This home is new construction (2020) with upgraded furnishings! It is surrounded by beautiful Live Oak trees and is on a quiet street only a pleasant seven-block walk to Waterfront Park and all the great restaurants and shops that historic Southport has to offer. NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF THE BEACH!! It is on the Cape Fear River and Intercoastal Waterway, with wonderful views across the river. If you want to walk to the beach, this home is not for you! The home has three bedrooms plus a study, making comfortable private sleeping for eight guests. The Master Suite has a king bed, Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, Bedroom 3 has twin XL beds, and the Study includes twin trundle beds (best for the kids). One of our most frequent comments is how comfortable our beds are! Double front porches make for relaxing and socializing.
