One Block to Beach, Sleeps 23 People, No Steps to Enter, Waterfront Decks

Weekend renters may occupy the house as early as 11:00 AM and depart as late as 7:00 PM on their last day. Rent a large 7-bedroom, 2 dens house with two kitchens that sleeps 23 people where your family will have plenty of space. There is parking for 7 cars in front driveway. There are no steps to enter lower level of house, which is helpful for persons with mobility issues. Enjoy the convenience of walking only one block to the beach and three blocks to shops and restaurants, including McDonalds and Dollar General. Our street goes directly over to a ramp onto the beach, and we have a pedestrian crosswalk where you can push the button to stop the vehicles so you can cross the street to the beach. House is waterfront at 104 Petherton Drive, on a canal with fenced-in, gated back deck for family picnics. Back deck has ocean breeze, Weber gas grills, 3 large dining tables and chairs, a large picnic table, two lounge chairs, and 2 armchairs, useful for serving waterfront dinners to 23 people. House is beautifully decorated with wicker furniture and beach style quilts, nautical lamps, and wall paintings. Beach wheelchairs with large wheels are available at the Town Hall. The two kitchens, one on each level, are fully stocked with porcelain and plastic dishes, silverware, glasses, wine glasses, cookware, serving platters, blenders, coffee makers, Keurigs, knife sets, microwave ovens, toaster ovens, and toasters...everything you need to serve dinners to large groups of people. House has 3 large dining tables...2 on the upper level (seats 14 to 16), and one on the lower level that seats 8 people. Crabbing off the back deck available. There are two central air-conditioning/heating units, one for each level of the house. House is stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, hand soap, bath soap, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, fabric softener, trash bags, household cleaning products, dish soap, and dishwasher soap. House has high-speed Xfinity internet service with extenders throughout house. Upper-level living room has TV with a Roku player. All Roku players get sling live TV news, weather and sports, Netflix, Prime Video, AMC, Britbox, MAX, HBO, MAX live sports, Hallmark Movies Now, Acorn TV, Paramount +, Criterion TV movies, The Roku Channel, and other shows. Upper-level master bedroom has TV with Roku streaming. Lower-level den has large 50" Roku TV. Lower-level master bedroom also has TV with Roku player. There are DVDs and players in the house. Upper Level: Kitchen and dining table that seats 16. A wooden card table and chairs is in the den for additional dining seating. Upper-level living room has L-shaped couch and TV with Roku & DVD player # 1 Upper-level master bedroom: TV, desk, 3 twin beds (or King and one twin) and bunk beds, has bathroom with shower, sleeps 5 Another bathroom with bathtub/shower is on upper level off hallway. # 2 Upper-level bedroom: dresser, 2 twin beds or one king, sleeps 2 # 3 Upper-level bedroom: desk, 2 twin beds or one king and set of bunk beds, sleeps 4 # 4 Upper-level bedroom/den has a queen-sized sleeper couch, closet, and card table with chairs Lower Level: # 5 Master bedroom has desk, dresser, TV, 2 twins or one king, and half bathroom, sleeps 2 Outdoor shower is off lower level of house # 6 Lower level bedroom has queen sized bed, sleeps 2 # 7 Lower level bedroom has 2 twins or king-sized bed, sleeps 2 # 8 Lower level bedroom has 2 twins or king-sized bed, sleeps 2 Two bathrooms off lower level hallway, one with bathtub/shower and one with shower Lower-level den has 2 couches, one of which is a queen sleeper couch, arm-chair, and 50" Roku TV, DVD player, and board games Lower level has full kitchen and dining table that seats 8 Lower level has laundry room with large washer and dryer Early check-in and late check-out is available for weekend rentals. Distances from Beach House: To Ocean Beach Walking time: 3 minutes to the waterline To Bethany Town Beach (town center boardwalk) Distance: 1.4 miles Driving time: 2 minutes To McDonalds Distance: 3 blocks To Ocean City (Ferris Wheel / Boardwalk) Driving time: 26 minutes You can rent kayaks at Coastal Kayaks or sign up for an educational guided kayaking tour of the bay.
