I had had a panic attack when i got to this hotel to find no flexibility regarding my room being available before 15h, although they did offer me a cup of tea. This is a huge hotel, my block was the original central one. Three nights, and every breakfast i had to wait over 35 m to get my breakfast as large groups were always given priority despite my being there first. Jan 25, afternoon shade by the pools, but the pool was warm and the hot tub clean. It's an old hotel, and the serving staff are friendly enough although reception a little frosty. Very unclear on the fridge bar, no prices and outrageously expensive. My error but even so, no prices and was told " help yourself" as no prices assumed free.

A skyscraper building (I am on the 14th floor) located by the lake. Not situated at walking distance to the village. Large room and medium bathroom size. Gorgeous room view over lake and volcano. Clean but not suggested for the allergic (carpet in the whole room, no anallergic bed covers). No air conditioning nor heating (!). Bed table far from bed. Stable internet connection. Fixed showerhead, rainfall. Available in the room: a complimentary bottle of water. Not available in the room: water kettle, coffee maschine, hairdryer, iron/iron board, bathrobe, slippers, safe. Power supply socket at bedside, adapter needed for EU travellers. Amenities: shampoo, soap bar. Fridge and TV English language channel available, both exceptional as the country standard does not include it. Very kind and helpful staff. No breakfast buffet, the vegetarian option is a fruit platter (see picture). My suggestion is order that only if you are vegan. The normal breakfast includes bread, jam, fruit and eggs.

The hotel is located a "tuk tuk" ride away from the masses. This suited us just fine. We had the most breathtaking view of the lake from the balcony of our hotel. The staff is super helpful (we had encountered a small issue with the water) and within hours it was all resolved. The facilities had pools and hot tub but we did not take any advantage of it as our stay was just a few days and wanted to take advantage of Lake Atitlan and all of her surroundings. Incidentally the Reserve is only 5 mins walking distance from the hotel where we were able to zipline for a few hours.

Estuve una semana por temas de trabajo, la gente del restaurante es fabulosa, siempre sonriente y servicial, la comida muy buena. La vista desde las habitaciones es preciosa. Es bueno poner un poquito más de cuidado en la limpieza de las habitaciones, pues al llegar tuve que pedir que realizaran bien la limpieza, pero una vez hecho esto, todo caminó excelente. Con seguridad vuelvo!

Hotel building sans aucun charme mais très jolie vue. Acceuil très bureaucratique, voire disciplinaire, ( liste des interdits), Peu aimable. Necessaire en chambre reduit au strict minimum. Mais de beaux balcons sur le lac et les volcans. Calme la nuit car isolé.

El peor HOTEL EN ATITLAN Las camas parecían colchonetas y las sábanas apostaban. En recepción muy pésimos todos no te apoyan en absolutamente nada tienes que salir averiguar como hacer tours en la zona porque en recepción no te lo dicen. Reservé 2 noches pero salí una noche antes porque habían muchos zancudos y calor en la habitación. Las almohadas viejas. NO LO RECOMIENDO HAY MEJORES OPCIONES EN LA ZONA

Intenté hacer una reserva, con el descuento de la Club bi, marítima atención por chat y resulta que si no tengo una tarjeta de crédito no puedo reservar! Ofrecí tarjeta de débito y efectivo y se negaron, un fiasco de servicio! Con Jardines del Lago ningún problema, no podemos ser discriminados por no formar parte de las estafas que son las tarjetas de crédito.
