Catalonia Playa Maroma - All Inclusive

Located on the white sands is a 10 from me. The room was absolutely lovely. The ground spendid jungle. Large pool and plenty of food options. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Any issues were rectified promptly. Fantastic hotel.

Amazing resort, don’t hesitate to book!!! Just returned from our 3 day trip. Loved everything. Privileged has some benefits, but not necessary ( building 5 next to the beach and Beloved restaurant only for privileged). Beach is amazing, great walks. Food is very tasty, the best that we had, so many options. Animals are fantastic, coaties. Stuff are great everywhere, customer service 5 stars!!! I would definitely return!!!

I have been on quite a few Daypass experiences in several different all inclusive resorts but my far this is one of the best experiences I've had yet. To start the food was incredible. The restaurant was extremely clean and well laid out with a variety of food available for all tastes. The property was impeccable. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It seemed like the guests were happy and all having a very good time. I will gladly return for another visit in the near future. Fantastic experience. This resort is fantastic The setting is jungle like with paths leading to all areas. Did not use bug spray and had no issues. Quiet music in all walk areas. The beach is fantastic. There are No stones all great sand. Walk either way for long distances The speciality restaurants are all great with decor different at each. Food very good to great The buffet is also very good Great selection. It is located at main check in building. All the other speciality are by pool. Blovd restaurant is on beach with great view. It is only preferred. It is well worth the upgrade. Also special area in beach Service is great. The crew is helpful and they all deserve tips If you want a jungle setting great food this is the place for you The room was great we purchased preferred romance which gave us a jetted tub on balcony. Used both day and night This is now our favorite after being to this area for the last 20 years

FOOD 10/10. Buffet clean, great variety. Food trucks with burgers, tacos etc for lunch by the pool along with apizza or crepe walk up restaurant options. All a la carte restaurants were excellent (our fav was Italian try the lasagne or shrimp fettuccine). Bloved restaurant (privilege only) was fantastic. Probably best food we’ve had at any all inclusive. Shout out to Bernabe/Alejandra/Janeth/Diana/Julio for their restaurant service. BEACH 10/10. Goes on for miles. Privilege side gets a bit more sun option. Lots of chairs for everyone. Clean up every morning so you walk out to a fresh beach. Lots of chairs for everyone. POOL 8/10. Only one pool for all guests so lots of kids by the swim up bar area. I didn’t mind but this might not be for everyone’s liking. ROOMS 9/10. Clean. Depending on which building you get, there may be a far walk to the beach but then you would be closer to the lobby/buffet. Sometimes hard to get face cloths. DRINKS 9/10. Some great bartenders and service. Mango margaritas were delicious. A bit of a wait at the beach bar to get a drink. ENTERTAINMENT 7/10. The staff work hard and provide a variety of options during the day. Where it is lacking is more the evening. Kind of repetitive with singing/dancing every night just a different theme. If I had to comment on anything that might be seen as “negative” Mobility as there is long walks between the beach/a la cartes from the lobby/stage entertainment. Longer wait times for drinks at the beach bar.
