호텔 마퀴스 에 메르(Hotel Maquis et Mer)

Overall first impression was very good, the new owners have done a good job decorating with warm colours and Nordic type furnitures, quality goods and attention to details at the reception and landing area, the Restaurant furniture is also quite nice. The Hotels provides 2 electrical charging points and 8/10 car space with free public car park nearby. Friendly and welcoming couple, the building on the left is original late 18th century the right handsome is more modern. The "old" building decoration is nice, lots a classic pairings reproduction, small tables and seats...all done with good taste. The rooms are nice and cosy, the front door are heavy (and fully fireproof, good heavy doors) and the beds are OK. So far so good. Now on the downside, the hotel terrace could be great, but a bit on the cheap side and not always as clean as I would expect. Not to mention that it's full of cats and some of them are quite sick, this is a real issue as we had guest who were allergic to cats and the owners were not helpful in this matter, we wanted to use the terrace for a drink and to relax we could not, same issue during breakfast when we could not access it due to those cats, this is not an issue for most but frankly not acceptable when this is the only option available (in the evening they have no restaurant so we would have liked to use this to eat some snacks and have a drinks but Nope! In addition there are signs mentioning that you cannot eat in your room...Hopefully you Love cats if not stay away. Good points: + Most of the rooms on both building are clean, well decorated and quite confortable. + The Breakfast is good value at 6€. + Electric charging points. + Located near all Bars and restaurants. To improve: - Having multiple cats arounds during Breakfast and in the terrace is a no go sorry. - Some rooms do not have AC, lighting in some rooms is an issue on the Old building (no ceiling lights). - Outdated bathroom and poor amenities. Overall, a very pleasant hotel, but not suitable for everyone a shame as the owners are putting a lot of effort into making this a cosy place.

Logement et dîner dans cet hôtel. Chambre agréable avec très bonne literie mais salle d'eau avec wc un peu à l'étroit. Le restaurant très joli aménagé dans une véranda est très agréable . les chaises sont particulièrement confortables. Le repas était de bonne facture et le personnel très prévenant. Le petit déjeuner est en formule buffet mais surprenant dans la mesure où l'on est servi à table même pour le lait dans le café ! Peut-être est-ce une manière d'éviter le gaspillage. A recommander certainement pour un court séjour ou ville étape.

Sobre,accueillant,propre. Les gérants sont sympa et ne ménagent aucun effort pour satisfaire la clientèle. Chambres fraîchement refaites et literies neuves, télévision et salle de bain petite mais sympa. Les repas frais et variés et petits déjeuners somptueux. Seul bémol l'ascenseur est au 1 et étage, pas très commode pour personnes âgées ou handicapées. Mais le personnel amène les bagages au premier ,c'est quand même bien

Das Hotel war soweit in Ordnung. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Leider kein Lift vorhanden. Wir waren im 2. Stock und mussten die Koffer eine schmale Treppe hoch tragen. Für uns kein Problem. Für weniger Fitte etwas schwierig.

Nous avons séjourné deux nuits dans ce bel établissement à Solenzara . L'accueil y est familial et très aimable . Notre chambre donnait sur la mer . Les repas étaient très bons . La terrasse à l'arrière pour l'apéro était bien située . Les patrons sont d'une très grande amabilité et fiers de leur établissement , à juste titre d'ailleurs . A conseiller .

Le lit très inconfortable, un matelas beaucoup trop mou, salle d’eau avec toilettes dans moins de 2 m², parking de l’hôtel, trop petit pour toutes les chambres, un petit déjeuner à deux tarif qui est servi au compte goutte en extérieur, avec quelques guêpes, qui vous accompagnent tarif de la chambre, a la tête du client.

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel pochi giorni fa. La struttura è ordinata pulita e con il posteggio annesso. A pochi passi dal centro di Solenzana e alle spiagge. Il personale e il titolare molto gentili e pronti a soddisfare le nostre richieste. Altamente consigliato. Grazie.

Sono rientrata da poco dalla meravigliosa Corsica ed ho soggiornato in questo Hotel (ottima posizione strategica) dove mi sono trovata molto bene. I proprietari gentilissimi e molto disponibili verso gli ospiti ci hanno fatto sentire a casa, dandoci consigli utili all'occorrenza per noi turiste. La colazione era molto buona con scelta tra piccola o abbondante. Stanze molto pulite e tranquille in questa bella struttura che un tempo era una dimora storica :-) Quindi molto soddisfatta!
